Discord Art Community and Butterfly Art Challenge (Patreon)

Hi everyone,

Thank you to all who took part in the July Art Challenge on Discord. 🧡

Being an artist can be a lonely pursuit so joining an art community has many benefits including:

On Discord we have lots of members who are enjoying these benefits. They are not only sharing tips and techniques they are getting to know one another and it’s wonderful to see. They are sharing photos of their pets, their painting spaces, their tools and supplies and even some reference photos.

We also had a butterfly painting challenge last month where I supplied a reference photo and a line drawing.

I love seeing all the different painting styles. The creativity and confidence I see makes me very happy! I’m stunned at the amazing talent and proud that they have found their own way of expressing themselves through watercolour.

I’ve attached photos of all of the butterflies posted from the challenge. Thank you to everyone who took part in the challenge.
