I hope your friend has a safety plan and resources to get help. The whole "I work so you can be a stay at home mom" concept is probably something he does so she has to be dependent on him. For the show, I was glad to see the judge's wife stand up for herself cuz f*** that kind of person having that kind of power, but I worry about her well being after such a public admission. Unfortunately, he probably wouldn't lose power overnight. People are still going to say it's her word against his, maybe someone else put their hands on her, everything else to discredit an abuse victim. I hope someone drove her directly to a shelter and made sure she wasn't followed.
