Just in case you didn't make the connection, old man Virgil who spoke to Nora at the store was the same guy who Michael went to visit in the trailer in episode 1 (who you assumed is his grandpa) and who told Kevin he can help him with his "problem" back at the visitor center.

I'm pretty sure that Miracle is the name of the National Park, and Jardin is the town which is situated in the park itself. A lot of their advertisement uses "Miracle" since it sounds more religious, probably.
