This is such as great show, can't wait for the finale! Also, Killing Eve is a show I think you and Siobhan would really enjoy (if you haven't watched already) once you wrap up with Dark :)

In the middle of the episode you asked "Where are they? Jonas and older Martha (Eva)?" They're in Eva's version of Adam's study. If you recall from last season, beneath the church in Winden there's an elevator that leads down into a cave system, and at the back of the cave is a temple structure that clearly dates back hundreds of years. That cave-temple is where Adam made his hideout and where he established the working Dark Matter machine that he sends Jonas through. In Eva's world, it seems likely that she has used this same space as her own lair, which is why they both have a singular painting on the wall to indicate the parallel locations. However, as with Adam's hideout, hers also exists in the past, which is why we see Jonas leaving the cave after he departs. It's not entirely clear what year her lair is placed in, but I would guess that it is NOT 1922 like Adam since the cave system allowed him to get between her time and that world's "present." We know that the caves connect three periods. In Adam's world, it connects 1953, 1986, and 2019. However, Eva's world appears to connect 1986, 2019, and 2052 given the end of the episode. That would imply that Eva's lair is in 1986.
