Parents never tried to kill me but my mom did say I was a burden financially and then told me a story about kids who loved their parents so much they killed themselves to make life easier for them. I was 7 or 8.

My mom 100% tried to kill me on multiple occasions. She suffered from auditory hallucinations and paranoia. Unfortunately, she never sought help. I haven't seen her in 18 years.

29 years for me. I heard she was living in Nyack NY these days. My cousins say she had a falling out with her sisters and her best friend. I don't know if she ever got help or not but all we can do is "keep buggering on". Sometimes I just wish I knew what having parents felt like.
