I saw a video this morning about a headcanon someone had about why Jerry's eyes are squinty. Can you give us some insight as to why that was your design choice for Jerry specifically? I think its because he would prefer to do anything else than ask his parents for glasses and he has shit vision. Plus doesn't seem like his mom and pop are around often enough to notice if he needs 'em. The person who made the video said its probably because he's asian on his mom's side but I wanted to know if you had an idea. Hope your holidays are doing well! Hope your printer and scanner come in soon.

(Like grandpa, uncle, abuelito, honestly I started to use “abuelito” just because I find it cute, and here in Mexico it’s pretty normal.) 2. I just wanted to tell you how much I love your work! I just recently discovered Beasts of Burden from one of your Instagram posts, it's amazing. I can't wait until Nerd Inferno comes out! I recently was reading old Milk and Cheese comics because it had been so long since I had read them, and I was laughing so hard I was crying, thank you for that; as I've aged, my humor has become more dry and I have a hard time laughing at anything anymore. I guess I've become an old fuddy-duddy (as I shake my fist at the sky that movies and shows aren't funny like they used to be). My dad would have loved M&C,;I wish I could have shared them with him before he passed. What was it like getting an Eisner Award? You totally deserved it!

Hi. I know I'm days late to ask a question but I'm sorta desperate. As they say in the movies, "Help me, Obi-Wa Kenobi. You're my only hope." Even with the ai help you get everywhere these days, I still can't find this horror movie. There was a movie advertised I think in 1982, I'm almost sure because the commercial played for weeks during Three's Company and at some time it replaced or was replaced by a movie commercial for "If You Could See What I Hear." I lived in Brooklyn so I figure you probably got the same programs and commercials. The commercial starts with the voice over saying, "(main character) is turning 18." They show an old woman sitting in a chair, looking scared. "His mother stopped talking. His father started drinking" They show a screaming old man fighting in a bar and other patrons holding him down. Then there's scenes of the main character chasing girls on a beach at night next to a bonfire. And that's all I can remember. Hope you can help. But if you're too busy and don't know the answer, put it on the back burner til the next AMA. Thanks.

this isn't really a question, but something me and my friends have always wanted to tell you! Before thanksgiving break we all decided to make an Eltingville Club themed Campaign for D&D where we rival against them in our own club called the Eltingville Society :) We meet every Monday for it and its the funnest I've ever had!!!

Eye?) is looking in a completely different direction and the other is normal idk if this was intentional or not I find it so silly(in a positive way)

Yeah, everyone has projects that don't get made, for various reasons. I had a metal men series I was writing canceled at DC, I was almost two scripts in before a new editor-in-chief came in and axed it. I pitched a superhero series called Bastard Squad to DHC, but they weren't interested in it. I pitched a Fight-Man 2099 10-page backup story to Marvel and the editor was up for it but I never found the time before the 2099 line collapsed. There's a lot of Milk & Cheese and Dork notes in my files that will never become finished comics. I worry about finishing up whatever loose ends I have at the moment, I hope to finish the main Beasts of Burden story, continue Blackwood and maybe do a hectic Planet story or something someday before I kick off. I also want to do a memoir about growing up as a nerd in the 70s/80s, but I don't know if I'll ever get all that completed. I'm not able to draw as much or as often as I used to, it's become a problem and I haven't been making comics for a while now.
