Thanks very much to everyone who asked about getting a copy of the minicomic. All the copies are currently spoken for. I am waitng to hear back from two people, if either/both orders fall through I will contact the next person/people on the list. If you haven't heard from me that means I don't have a copy available for you, sorry about that.

I wish I had ordered more copies of the comic, I'm sorry there aren't enough to go around. I could've used at least another 20 more, this is my first experience dealing with this and I wish I had preordered copies (like someone suggested, but I had already put in my order). I wasn't sure how to judge the audience for something like this, minis tend to be boutique-y and exopensive (as I saw at MOCCA the other week), especially with shipping. I wanted to offer the comic to Patreon backers first and wasn't sure about all the signings definitely happening. I needed to pay upfront for copies so I ordered very conservatively (cutting the number down last minute, even). Shades of working on orders with the other managers at Jim Hanley's Universe, I was always cautious about going overboard on anything. And I'm not the most confident person when it comes to selling stuff to this day.

In the end I don't think very many copies were printed, I don't think we went far past a hundred copies overall, it looks like a bunch of folks didn't order extras to try to sell. If I end up taking part in another comic project with the gang I'll try to work things out so people who want a copy can get a copy. Normally I sell comp copies of my books, which are limited to my agreement with the publisher.

Speaking of which, I still need to gear up and offer some signed/sketched copies of the Beasts of Burden omnibus. Being a one-man signing/sketching/packing/shipping company can take a lot of time and it's hard to schedule those sales. Especially right now with all the Nerd Inferno ramp-up stuff. I have a Comics Journal interview tomorrow. Didn't know they still knew who I was. And it looks like I have another signing happening for May, fingers crossed. It's not local. As in...gulp...air travel. Even if it doesn't happen, May is going to be a very busy month for this old man.

Anyway, sorry for any disappointment over the minicomic. Thanks to everyone who asked and those who picked up a copy. Most copies will go out this Thursday. I hope folks enjoy it.
