I almost always draw stuff past the margins of my covers because --

1) Can't stop and --

2) Never trust my measurements. Anyway, there's Crayon Shin -chan M&C there for you on the lower left that I don't think made it into the actual cover. Published in 1997. Yeesh.

Will there ever be a Milk & Cheese #Hate? No, I wouldn't bet on it. Will there ever be more Milk & Cheese comics? Probably. They'd be published here first, if they ever happen.

RIP, Yoshito Usui. It was around this time of year we learned of his passing in 2009 while working at CMX. I got to work on some of his books for US audiences as an assistant editor with Jim Chadwick, and I looked forward to those. We understood he was taking reference photos while hiking alone. Horrible--what a tragic loss. It's really cool that you have Shin-Chan in there, even if it didn't make it onto the actual cover. ❤️

On a happier note, please let them come back sooner than later, the world needs M&C right now.

That Kitty Cheese in the top right corner area begs for an all-ages kitty cat Milk & Cheese strip. Running riot over healthy snacks instead of candy, some goofy kid thing.
