This was a possible ending for this week’s video (Patreon)

When I was coming up with the idea for this week’s video, I knew I wanted the setup to be a flesh disk stuck in a well but I didn’t know what would happen once Nigel unstuck him.

One idea I had was that he wasn’t actually a flesh disk but a flesh tube and it would be revealed that flesh tubes are incredibly aggressive creatures (and this one has a knife). Marmalade would reassure everyone that he’s not dangerous because his face is pointing upwards so he can’t see where he’s going.

I like using my sketchbook to explore different ideas, it’s very useful and ultimately how I came up with the ending you see in the video.
