BTW from an elder adult: I promise it will get better. You've got the growing pains (the "adult puberty" as it were - everything is confusing, you're asking older folk wtf is happening, emotions and time are volatile...) - but it *will get better*. And then you get to enjoy the fun side of adulting. Like decorating however you want in your house.

As an elder adult, I remember getting my first job that offered decent health insurance and a 401k and as exciting as it was finally reaching that point where i could kinda-sorta say “I’m a real adult now!”, it still was not a fun learning curve trying to figure out everything that the even-older-adults seemed to have already known for ages. But the good news is that eventually it gets easier and hopefully you like the new job so you don’t have to fill the forms out and (depending on the state) it just rolls over each year
