What was everyone doing to close out the old and welcome in the new year?

The Pack and Court all got together as usual for a party at the estate

Simon cooked for the whole event, including making steaks he re-infused with fresh blood so all the vampires could partake in the feast!

Sugar had the bright idea to put blood in an A-1 sauce bottle and kept passing it around. After nearly pouring that good O+ on a shifter's plate, the bottle had to be confiscated and given a heavily sharpied cap and a labeled piece of duct tape wrapped around it.

Isla learned how to make paper cranes and stars from Sylas so everybody got a present when they walked in the door. Ranger got a crane and a star because they are her favorite.

Ro and Tristan spent 45 minutes panicking because they misplaced their "special" gummies before remembering they already took them.

They both fell asleep by 11pm and Beth had to drag them to a spare bedroom in the estate. No one brought any coats but they ended up buried under a mountain anyway. It became a game that everyone had to sneak into the room and place another coat/jacket on them before they could get another drink. By the time they woke up the next morning, They had to shift to push all of it off of them and had to climb out of the bedroom.

Ranger was wearing one of Claire's shirts all night but Beth was too busy pointing out it wasn't khaki colored to notice.

Lydia and Rogue played cards. They've gotten much better at keeping track of the rules and playing games helps their head clear for a bit.

Evie and Knight made paper lanterns that morning and let them float up into the sky as a private celebration together. Knight did have to pinky promise Ranger that they would use magic to light the lanterns instead of candles ahead of time.

Rose, Abby, and Dear all slept over Rose's place and made New Year Bingo Cards. They're all hanging up in her kitchen.

Dear and Abby made a secret resolution on the backs of their cards to tell Rose how they feel about her. Rose wrote the same on the back of her card.

At midnight, no one kissed but they all held hands and snuggled together on the couch.

Seer and Beth rewatched Heated Rivalry.

Chloe and Dewdrop had Harper over along with some other friends for a lowkey celebration. Chloe kissed them both at midnight.

Liza went to celebrate with her ex husband and his family. His kids all see her as an aunt in their lives. She called Sugar for the countdown to midnight.

Celine and Lydia exchanged woven bracelets under moonlight. Neither acknowledged it, but as they kissed, Northern lights illuminated the skies above them.

Alan and Hazel both kissed Simon on the cheek at midnight.

Sugar, Beth, Knight, Claire, Genevieve, Seer, Ranger, Tristan, Ro, and Sylas all played Tik Tok Roulette (Game of chance where the loser had to have their Tik Tok likes projected on the TV in the living room)

Ranger had been baking for the party all day but saved a secret batch of lemon bars just for Claire. They got a lot more than just a kiss at midnight.

Seer and Beth made a bunch of popsicle sticks with date/activity ideas so they could be more intentional with spending quality time together.

Beth shifted and curled up around Seer after they shared their New Year's Kiss. They played with her ears and stroked her fur even after they had fallen asleep.
