Lovely Assistant (Patreon)

Hello you beautiful person, and thank you for your support this fine October!

This month's paper animation is something I've been drawing a lot in my sketchbook lately- which is a magician and their rabbit. To fit the layout I had to condense the magician into the border, but in my other sketches they've been a little crocodile.

There's something interesting to me about the bizarre scenarios magicians impose on their assistants, and their rabbits, and I feel like there's an idea in there somewhere I might like to pursue. But right now I'm of course deep deep in production on Wall World, so for now the rabbit can go in this paper loop, and I may or may not revisit that later on!

As always, the original frames are this month's Pen Pal drawings, which I will pack and send off in the coming days.
