I haven't really been paying attention to the dates these were posted, but this one was posted on my birthday!

The voice acting and pained expressions during Luz’s confession managed to get to me a little bit. I love it when cartoons are able to deal with tough subjects in a mature and nuanced manner. One nice detail is that the Abomaton’s alarm sounded a lot like the notification alarm on Luz’s phone, which could explain why lost her composure in that moment. Amity refusing her dad’s hug was also great, and it’s a relief that they aren’t ignoring the part he played in her abuse.
