As they ascend towards the sky, the dark snowy landscape stretching before him, he can't help but wonder to himself how could he deliver the gifts, with everyone keeping their doors closed.

Suddenly, he hears a familiar laughter that breaks through the silent of the night

"Ho ho ho ... !"

"The saint is back! The saint is back!!"

The townspeople light their lanterns and flock onto the street, creating an unforgettable sight for Mr Krampus, flying high above.

"I'm here to help you friend ! With a little magic you will appear to look like me, from head to toe, including my jolly fat belly!"

But do not let them touch you, for the illusion will be dispelled, and they will know who you are !" - The saint says to Krampus.

Though the townspeople cannot hear the conversation happening above still they are filled with joy for the night to come.

"Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas everyone. The hour of merriment draws near, but I need every good soul, young and old to turn off your lights, and fall off to slumber. When you wake up tomorrow, there will be a pleasant surprise for all!"

The people follow the saint's orders to the letter, allowing Krampus to descent from the sky and start jumping down the chimney of everyone's house.
