Hello!

Hope you all had a nice summer!

I've been working on the video, although not as much as I wanted to. The beginning of videos are always the hardest to animate but I feel like I've gained some momentum now. This is also a particularly difficult one because the location is so cramped.

This is going to be my first 4K video. It's also the first time Max takes charge (at least in the beginning) - this has been a common request.

I'll show some more sneak peeks eventually. I'll also hold a poll about the name of the video because I can't make my mind up lol

I always wonder why people feel a need to see the usually more submissive partner turn tables and take charge; I wonder if a lot of people enjoy seeing a reversal of the power dynamic :)

It makes perfect sense to me. Max was always anxious about making choices and afraid she would make the wrong one - until faced with choosing Chloe. Where Chloe is concerned, she wants to boldly choose her. And Chloe has had this tough persona and wanted to control things because she's had to in order to protect herself - but with Max, she trusts her completely and is willing to let go of that need for control. It's very common for people in an intimate relationship to want to adopt roles that are the opposite of who they are in daily life. People who are always in control welcome the chance to give up control, and those who always feel powerless or defer to other's wishes jump at the chance to take a dominant role.

John makes some good points! These videos I make are my own headcanon and I see this as the latest one chronologically. I like the idea that Max is now so comfortable with Chloe and intimacy that she's willing to take initiative. I also like the idea that Chloe who's headstrong and usually takes charge actually enjoys momentarily giving up control to Max. I've seen some fan art of submissive Chloe and I kinda dig it. 😳 But like I said in the post, this is only briefly in the beginning of the video.

Thanks! It's fun but like all animations it gets tedious sometimes 😬 I can't emphasize how time consuming this is lol But the feeling when it all starts falling into place is just 👌😩

I am completely ignorant about all facets of computer animation but is there any possibility of automating some of it or is that not a thing?

Well You got to my reply first. This was so well written I don't have anything to add that wouldn't be repeating what you just wrote. So I'll just say Ditto! lol

There's no way to automate it that I know of. I want complete control over what I make
