Update / paused billing / new, faster PC (Patreon)

Hello!

I've paused the next billing, on October 1st. I don't have much new to show, except for a small preview of the scene I'm working on right now.

This takes place after Max and Chloe are in the kitchen, but before Max is tied up. It obviously gets spicy, and this is where Max suggests being tied up.

I've also been working on the Max and Chloe models, making them easier for me to animate.

I bought a new PC!

Ever since I upgraded from Source Filmmaker to Blender, my old PC had trouble keeping up with the improved graphics. That PC is over 5 years old and was mid even back then. So, I bought a new PC just yesterday, in an effort to make videos faster.

It's twice as expensive as my old one, but about three times more powerful. It renders a frame three times faster.

I can finally preview these scenes inside Blender in real time, with high-quality textures and lighting, at 25 FPS. This has been my personal Holy Grail. My old PC couldn't do that. It would be so laggy that I'd have to animate without textures and lighting, and then export a test video with textures and lighting enabled, just to get a good look at the scene. This will speed things up a lot.

I'm also trying out a new video editor and it seems to export some videos faster.

To put it simply, my new PC will make things faster and easier for me. I'm doing everything I can to speed up the process of making these videos. I'll definitely have some new stuff to show next month!
