Hey everyone!

The Ravix has had quite a bit of work since the last public release on August 7. Version 0.5 brings a working retractable hardtop, more useful dashboard screens, new wheel and tire options, and more things to interact with inside the car.

Take the Roof Down

Four convertible configurations join the lineup: S-C, S-XC, SR-C, and SR-XC, covering both rear wheel drive and AWD versions of the S and SR.

The roof has a full opening and closing sequence, with moving covers, flaps, and latches. The windows lower automatically during the sequence and return when the roof closes. Roof and window position also affect how much outside sound you hear from the cabin.

Press O to operate the roof below 30 km/h. Damage to the mechanism can stop it from completing the sequence.

More Useful Screens

The dashboard now displays a live navigation map with your active route. You can pan and zoom the map from the driver’s seat, while supported races and time trials feed lap counts, split times, and best laps into the display.

We’ve also updated the fuel range and oil pressure readings, added shift guidance that responds to the engine and oil temperature, and made screen brightness adapt to the surrounding light.

Wheels, Tires, and Braking

The wheel and tire selection has been expanded, with new tire models and textures, more sizes, and additional drag tire options. Several configurations now use staggered wheel setups.

There are also new drag brakes, revised drivetrain and brake settings, rear suspension corrections, and fixes for tire rotation and wheel instability.

The Goshawk’s active wing now has an additional airbrake position under heavy braking in Track mode. Race electronics include a choice to enable or disable the airbrake.

The Smaller Details

Working side windows with interior switches and keyboard controls.

Movable driver and passenger sun visors.

An opening fuel flap and added filler neck.

Updated exterior and interior lighting, with static, trailing, and filling turn signal options.

New classic and Talon stripe liveries, plus chrome wheel finishes.

Revised paint, carbon, clearcoat, and glass materials.

Updated configuration photos, descriptions, and vehicle selector grouping.

A new Talon-X ATR manual configuration.

Corrections to exhaust afterfire, rear lights, convertible naming, and Peregrine’s paint and frunk selection.

Thanks for supporting the Ravix and helping us keep working on it!

Please improve the wheel outline, as it still looks jagged, which ruins the overall beauty of this superb mod!

I know it's a beta and I realy love it. But I'm missing a hybrid battery indicator at the dashboard. And speaking of hybrid: a button inside the cockpit to change the battery-mode would be a nice feature, too! :)

Man this mod is beautiful, all it needs is a notched ducktail on the active aero and the Peregrine door skins on the convertible body and it would be perfect
