It really helps to relax your muscles but somehow...when I had my blood sample taken last year, nurse touched my skin by needle and I still instinctively moved back, I wasn't expecting that weird feeling. At second try I had no issues and it was painless. About injecting stuff, I "enjoyed" injections a lot around my 18th birthday thanks to monoculeosis, I hope I'll never experience anything like that ever again.

I can't look at the needle either. I mean, who in their bloody mind want to see a foreign object pierce through their skin? Urgh... 😖

Heh. Well in my case I don't usually react vocally to pinches nor needle insertions. I used to fear needles as a child but that fear dissipated rather quick once I realized I have high pain tolerance

I periodically have to get blood work done for a health concern. I'm always a wreck by the time they're done drawing blood.

Well, I must say I feel much better when injection is done. I even can say that the waiting - is most hard time to me^^

Taking the stupid vaccine and boosters didn't give me a sore shoulder. But the opposite of my elbow hurts like hell for me. High pain sensitivity from my cursed mental conditions like dumb Autism. (You have no idea how tired I am of saying Autism, but have to or else no one will understand)

Usually when they say that, they're giving you an injection in the upper part of your butt, and it tends to be one of those weekly/monthly injections with those super thick needles...
