Happy MagBuddy Monday, Misfits!

This week’s drop is a little extra special because both of these MagBuddies came directly from member requests! 🥹💕

🌺 First up is our new Hula Girl MagBuddy, requested as the perfect companion for the Palm Tree already included in our Welcome Pack.

🐾 And joining her is the absolutely adorable Opossum MagBuddy, another request straight from one of our members!

I genuinely love getting to turn your ideas into new MagBuddies, so I thought it would be fun to make this week all about Community Picks. Some of the best additions to the collection have come from you guys telling me what you’d love to print next.

And for everyone currently living in full spooky-season mode… don’t worry. 🎃😂 More Halloween is absolutely coming! We still have plenty of creepy-cute goodness planned as we head further into fall.

🧲Magnet Placement Pause

These prints include a pause for inserting 8×2mm round magnets. These are the ones we use→ https://amzn.to/46b4go9🩷If you prefer no magnets, simply delete the pause and let it run through!

Printers Used:Bambu Lab A1, A1 MINI / P1 Series

Snapmaker U1/Creator 5: While we print with these purgeless printers, all files are saved as a Bambu files and individual settings may need to be manually entered for other Orca slicers. However we have zero issues opening these files on our own Orca slicers so if you ever come across any issues please feel free to reach out.

• Layer Height: 0.12mm... (The smaller the layer height, the higher the quality. This is your choice. We use .12 to .16, 99% of the time, if you want to save time, make this number BIGGER). I don't recommend anything over .2 for these models.

• Walls: 3• Infill: 9%• Pattern: Gyroid

🚀 Speed

• Outer Wall: 200mm/s• Inner Wall: 200 mm/s• Sparse Infill: 200 mm/s• Internal Solid Fill: 200 mm/s

*Top Surface: 200mm/s (100 if using silk filament); otherwise 150 to 200 is good• Overhang Speeds: 20 / 20 / 20

🌳 Supports

• Type: Tree• Style: Default• Support Angle: 10• On Build Plate Only: Yes-->> Critical for supports to NOT fill your magnet hole• Top Z Distance: 0.28• Bottom Z Distance: 0.28• Base Pattern: Hollow

These are the settings I personally use and recommend to achieve the quality shown in my photos. However, every printer and user is different, so feel free to modify them as needed to best fit your setup and printing preferences.
