Today’s post is a standalone piece for Pixiv, but since I put together a fairly solid scenario for it, I decided to feature it as my main upload. This is a police-cosplay version of the "Gal Mom" character I’ve been fond of for a while. I’ve been creating various looks for the "Jirai-kei" (gloomy/edgy style) mom—switching between casual clothes, gym uniforms, and so on—so I thought I’d do the same for the Gal Mom. I often struggle with how to design police uniforms from scratch, so having an existing character wear the cosplay is definitely the easiest approach. 😌 That said, putting "Mom" characters in cosplay does tend to give off a strong early-Heisei era vibe. 😅
