Do you have any tips to getting such crisp precise linework?

C.Bedford

What I would say stuck with me the most was this idea I heard once before; when it comes to line work "There's only one line for everything". So when trying to articulate something, try to keep it to a single line if you're wanting to keep it clean. Also the use of line weights appropriately can help keep a tidy look (using thicker lines for the contours of an object with thinner or lighter lines within the object). Scratchy uneven lines can be very expressive but there's a time and a place for all the many lines one can make - it's about using the appropriate ones. I'd suggest starting off with some practice of using heavy weighted lines for prominent features of a piece, and keeping delicate lines for more intricate details. I hope this helps!

Ah yes! This is actually super helpful. The idea is so simple yet makes tons of sense. I'll try practicing that. Thanks a lot!
