Ah thanks chad ;;! It's not so much the colours that are bothering me, but I feel I lost some of the slight movement I had in the original sketch - the face was at a very slight tilt when drawing, but as I kept painting it, I ended up moving the features and now he looks as if he's facing the camera directly which takes away some of the original feeling to me ;; So i might attempt this one again....
