It's like this... Sometimes you find something - a song, a poem, a picture, that you instantly fall in love with. A little piece of yourself that somehow got lost in the world and you've just found it again. And it feels like home. And you know the person that made it is your kin. They're in your gang. And their sense of humour is your special sense of humour. And their 1980's Japanese Mixtape is your special music. CB, in no small way by making your own unique undiluted art, you're making it for all of us that don't have the skill or the vision or the courage. You're carrying our dreams, too. And it's beautiful and funny and bursting with life and I can guarantee everytime I look at your stuff it lifts me up. I know it's incredibly hard to try and make a living doing what you're doing, and sometimes it may not feel important to you, but for what it's worth, it's important to me. And I know there are tons of other people who feel the same.

I wish I had a way to respond to this that was as deep and poetic but i'm struck; honestly. It's easy to forget that we're people who take up space and capacity in the world and this had certainly reminded me that I do haha.
