I apologize if I came across as rude in the comments previously when I asked about blind reactions, it was just curiosity. Thought I should stress that first. My journey watching this started in 2007, 14 years ago when I was 11 years old and I'm nearly 26. In 2007, there was only 330ish episodes and we thought it was a long anime back then. This series has been with me for more than half of my time alive and it means so much to me even though people will just say to read the manga. I'm glad I can start from episode 1 all over again with you Dean, it's gonna be a looooooooong one from here on out. I would also note that Crunchyroll or other streaming services do some unfortunate things with it, so because of copyright, some openings a couple hundred episodes in will not be there so you'll likely miss some. I think they just couldn't get the copyright for the songs on some older arcs when they got the license to stream them.

Hey, Never took it as rude. It was a genuine question. As I said in my response, you had a valid point. But the world of One Piece is so rich, I can’t NOT watch it. Here’s to the next 15 years watching One Piece. Lol

Can’t wait to watch it all. And I’m gladly it’s a little different from the manga. Keeps it interesting for both formats. Should I get ahead with the anime, reading the manga will still surprise me.

Fuji Nami

would rather a manga reaction if possible. the anime gets unbearable at times, it's my opinion.

Greenleaf

Idk if you've ever heard of it, but there's an edited version of one piece called "one pace" that speeds up the pacing and matches the anime to the manga scene by scene.

I'd say as far as dubs go. The 4kids dub got censored 5 ways to Sunday before they dropped it, and overall just wouldn't recommend it. But the Funimation dub is actually not half bad, now it's not the best dub in the world. but I would definitely give it a passing "Good"
