Hey Patrons,

It's a long one this month - but only because we have a lot of cool stuff to talk about. This month's patron show is dominated by chat about the future of Noclip - both the channel, the Patreon, the podcast and the wider vision for our fun little corner of games coverage.

As ever, here are the timecodes so you can bounce around to the stuff that matters to you.

As soon as you said *Patron username spoiler* we knew... Excellent news indeed, now off to watch the rest!

Great update, thanks Danny! Feels like very exciting times for Noclip, really behind everything you've said.

Great update, pumped for this year! Also even though I think the full movie like docs *feel* better, I think the episodes have an enormous benefit because they leave space for future updates, especially with things like Dwarf Fortress which seems like it might have a new turn every 1-3 years

NoClip Alpha Build sounds like it is going to be awesome.

I'm so excited to be a part of this community. The Internet is full of regurgitating & opinions—there is a place for that—but seems to be loosing/lacking real world experienced journalism. Very much loving the work & the continued growth in different directions. Props to all the No Clip team.

any chance you guys might do a billy basso (animal well) developer interview??

Great update, Danny. Can't believe you did that whole thing twice, that's some dedication. Looking forward to the "how games are made" series. One topic I'd love to see is what's involved in porting a game to another platform. I assume engines help with this, but I'm sure there are interesting problems unique to porting, and I doubt it's as easy as people might assume. I'm also curious about how the up front planning and design of a game is influenced by the possibility of wanting to port it in the future. Thanks to the crew, looking forward to all the great stuff coming in 2025!

Great idea, I’ll reach out

I guess not everyone who plays games is interested in technical aspects, or what it takes to build and make game systems and mechanics work. So from a selfish perspective I'm all in on dev interviews to show how a game is built, even if it's just a sub system. Great idea!! Thank you for the fantastic insight into what noclip is looking at introducing and evolving with times!!
