Hello Early Access Patrons,

We close out our four-part series on Dwarf Fortress with an episode filmed two years after the original three. This one focuses on everything that happened post Steam launch, including the addition of Adventure Mode. But the focus of this episode is the lives of Tarn, Zach, Annie and their families.

Finding the slivers of love and light in the midst of tragedy and pain is such an immense journey, often travelled with a heavy heart. So proud of this family for moving forward and authoring their story in such a profound way. Amazing work NoClip, as always. You have meandered into matters of the heart with this one, and did it with grace. Truly well done.

This is so much more than a game dev doc. 🥲 Amazing job!

Hey guys, loving the docs. Just in case you weren't aware, the backdrop for the anecdote at the start, around the 00:30s mark, still has the watermark on it!

Jonathan Barrett

I totally didn't find myself spontaneously crying and applauding at various points during this doc, honest! Outstanding work folks. Thank you for making this ❤️

Gloriamus

Wow, Tarn is a parent! What an incredible thing for him.

You navigated that interview with Annie perfectly Danny. "How's your Dad doing?" was such a perfectly timed, human question. And the loss of Mr Adams too it seems like the last 2 years have been very rough in a lot of ways. I loved this final part though, it's clear to see the journey isn't over, lots of things have changed for the better (especially for Tarn) and good to know they are all hungry for their next chapter. I wish them all the best.
