The third, final, and arguably most substantive documentary from our trip to MachineGames is now available for everyone to watch. In it we dive into the design of the game's three main open levels, how the team mirrored the cinematic language of the source material, the GRIP system in charge of Indy's hands and loads more.

Thank you so much for helping us fund these three documentaries. MachineGames are one of the coolest and most talented AAA studios in Europe we had yet to visit so I'm delighted we managed to get three substantive stories out of them. Another great doc, team! You covered a lot of ground in ~50 minutes. A small note from me, if I may: I found some of the overlaid music distracting, especially during the Sukhothai section where it felt particularly out of place. A minor point, of course, and a very personal one.

This game was soooo good. Machine Games do some amazing work and idtech is so well optimized for PC. It feels like this generation of gaming is filled with UE5 slop that performs so poorly with shader compilation and traversal stutters This game and Doom The Dark Ages made the price of my 9800X3D/4090 feel like it was worth it. The Path Tracing is so well implemented!

Fantastic doc. There is so many good systems and immersion to it. It feels like a film entry in so many ways and the way Troy embodies the character is insane. The smirk when he puts the hat back on is chef's kiss.
