[Please do not share until tomorrow]YOUTUBE LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNZkTk5gLuo

Hey Patrons!

And so begins two weeks of sweet early-access videos especially uploaded for you folks. Linked above is our first episode in the six-part odyssey that is our series on The Witcher. In it I talk to Marcin Iwiński about growing up in socialist Poland, the founding of the company, and how they started work on the first game.

As ever I ask that you please don't share this video until it goes live tomorrow morning. If you have any technical feedback on the episode, feel free to leave it too - we're still tweaking all of this stuff before it goes live tomorrow.

I hope you enjoy the show!

Danny

Oh sweet Danny boy. Made my day. Good luck with the packing and move.

Dan Longman

Yes! Thanks Danny, excited for this!

Thanks! Almost there. Furniture is next to pack up. The last thing standing will by my desk as we render the rest of the videos :)

I've had an awesome day anyway and this has topped it off beautifully. Been looking forward to this so much

Wow. Every time I expect a great doc and every time you vastly exceed my expectations. This first part was so good. Marcin is always great in interviews and this is the same. He is super interesting and clearly a visionary. Great Work Danny. Can’t wait for all the other parts.

Will Luck

Amazing work guys loved it!

Oh man couldn't wait any longer, had to kick up the pledge level just so I can see it early. May sound cheesy but you inspired my son to pursue a career in software development and gaming with this venture (Noclip) and your older series (Mount Stupid , and your time at Gamespot). Your attention to detail should be an inspiration to all the other game journalists out there.

Wow that is really humbling to hear. Thanks so much for the pledge, but also for letting me know. I hope he enjoys creating as much as he has playing! It's a great area of work to be a part of. Wish him the best from me! Maybe one day we'll do a doc on something he touched :D
