Hey Patrons,

*exhales*

And there we go. The final episode in our series on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt dives into several other areas of game design including music, AI, combat design, cinematics, Gwent and more.

This has been a hard two weeks of final editing while we wait in limbo (in Virginia) to move into our new home on Monday. So I hope you don't mind if I focus on getting keys and moving furniture for the next few days! We have loads more exciting stuff coming over the next few weeks and months. Plenty of videos (GTA:O / PUBG), a secret announcement and loads more Patron-special stuff coming real soon.

For now, I'm gonna have a rest. Let me know what you think of this one :)

Devil's in the Detail (Music, Combat, Gwent & More) - Witcher Documentary

To make a game as detailed as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt requires a team of people working on a broad range of systems. In our final video of this series we delve into music, combat design, AI, cinematic design, writing, performance capture, and of course, Gwent. Our work is 100% crowdfunded. This has landed at the perfect time. It's Friday night and I've just cracked open a post-work beer. I loved this series, thank you for the hard work.

I've not watched this one yet but this has been a great series. In fact the stuff you and your team do has been great. Good luck with the move and I look forward to many, many more years of Noclip.

Can't wait to watch this later, love your work Danny!

Hey Mr. O'Dwyer! Another great series in the books! For someone like me who has no real interest in the Witcher series, I really enjoyed the chronicle of how CD Projekt came to be and their level of dedication to practically every single detail in every single facet of game design. Great work, hope the move is going well, and I can't wait for what's coming next!

This was fun! I enjoyed every single video. I know it was hard to tie together narratives of all episodes but I think you did a good job doing so. I noticed there was less of you a bit and more of them. And I think for these team it was appropriate because you let them expose themselves in all their love and passion for this series. And the closing of this video (and series I guess) - the assassins creed story - it was perfect! Loved the message it ended with. Bravo!

Great work as always! It's fascinating to see how much work and love these people put in the game and in the company. Also i can't wait for the extended interviews! PS: Was hoping for a Cyberpunk scoop at the end... oh well. (joking) ((sorry i said the C word))

Truly epic. A fitting documentary for the greatest game ever made.

For the record, I finished every main quest, side quest, destroyed every monster nest, and collected every Gwent card, guarded treasure, sunken treasure, and hidden treasure for the main game and both expansions. Only took me 313 hours. Too short.

I recently came by your videos on Youtube. It started with the Rocket League story which was amazing and once I stumbled upon you Witcher series I was hooked. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for these fantastic stories.

I don't envy you, Danny. How the fuck do you follow that up?

Tory Thompson

This series is such a great peak behind the curtain. What an awesome team and great story to tell.

Danny, thank you so much for this. As someone who thinks that the Witcher 3 is actually the best game ever made (no reservations), at least to date, I am immensely grateful for creating the series to memorialize the effort behind the game.
