Hey folks,

Our final documentary feature of the year is now live. Charting the seven year development of cycle of Horizon Zero Dawn, our 67 minute feature covers everything from the launch of the studio, to their work on the Killzone franchise, the early concepts for Horizon and the evolution of their incredible machines.

We've also produced this feature with those who have not played it in mind. This is a spoiler-free doc - so feel free to watch it without worrying.

Thank you so much for all your support in 2017. We have some Sessions dropping over the holidays too - so make sure to check back during the break. We're looking forward to creating even more video game documentaries in 2018.

Thanks again. Enjoy the show.

Danny

I can’t wait to watch! Thanks for making it spoiler free. 💖💖💖

I was planning on doing some xmas shopping during my lunch break today...but I might have to move that until tomorrow. So excited for this.

Thank you Danny! Perhaps it is my love for the game, but this felt like it was on another level. Truly magnificent!

Brandon K Gann

Another great doc! I especially enjoyed the portions discussing the transition from Killzone to Horizon and the Kojima collaboration. A fantastic way to end the year!

This had a pre-roll add for me... Curious.

Congratulations on yet another amazing piece of work Danny and Jeremy. You guys really are on the top of your game at the moment. Quality that will definitely stand the test of time. Can't wait for the next one. Unfortunately I'm going to have to stop my pledge for a bit. I have been at the highest tier since the beginning but earlier this year I broke both elbows at work, the left been called a catastrophic injury by the surgeon, and I am not yet able to return to work. Money from work and sick benefit has now come to an end and so I do not have any money coming in at the moment so I am cutting as much outgoings as I possibly can for now. I hope to be able to return to work in the near-ish future at which point I hope to be able to return my pledge as I love the work you both are doing here and want it to continue for many many years.I wanted to just write something as I didn't want to think you had lost a patron due to been unhappy with anything or the recent Patreon payment mess.

Patrick Hanlan

Great work all, a fantastic video to finish the year. Really liked the shots of Guerilla using their development tools.

Martin Power

What a way to end the year!! This was my favourite game this year and I had super high expectations. You blew them out of the water. Thank you for the early christmas present. Can't wait for next year.

Justin Dotson

I think it's kind of amazing at how enthusiastic these game developers seem when they talk to you. It really shows how much of a need there is for content that isn't backed by entities where the dollar is the bottom line. It also shows how great your vision for Noclip continues to be as these documentaries continue to be absolutely outstanding. I'm also always left wanting these to be longer but I just really love in-depth documentaries. Keep up the fantastic work Danny.

Jody Kemsley

Amazing work, beautifully edited and my favourite so far!

Martin Ockovsky

Thank you Danny for this amazing work. I have to get me some PS4 and play it already :|

Joe Sherwin

Definitely like this more than everything else you've done so far, and that's saying something as it's all incredible. Keep it up man!

maarten seghers

I didn't know this channel before but saw this video via the Ars technica article (thank those guys for the exposure). I loved it so much it finally made me bite the bullet, sign up for patreon so I can support creators like you, thanks for the great content

You saved the best for last Danny! It's been a heck of a year for NoClip but this documentary topped them all for me. Absolutely loved it, seeing the prototypes is something I find endlessly fascinating when you're able to get footage of that. Definitely would like to see more of that in future doc's as well if you can get access! Cheers to an amazing 2017. Can't wait to see what you have planned ahead.

Matt Matlock

Probably your best yet. The amazing image of Aloy that kept getting revealed at the beginning of each chapter was fantastic. Perfectly paced, very informative, and beautifully shot.

Clay A Binkley

No surprise, guys. Your docs are still the shit. Now I want to go back and play some more Horizon...

Piotr Kostecki

Sweet doc Danny! Just finished and I'm blown away! :)

This makes me actually want a PS4…
