Hey Patrons,

Our latest episode of Hades: Developing Hell is now available. In it, Supergiant Games prepares to launch Hades on Steam Early Access after a year of exclusivity on the Epic Games Store. We embed as they tell us about their hopes, their many fears, and the surprising reality of how it all went down.

It was a lot of fun focusing on the community, business, and marketing aspects of a game's release. Let alone the obvious concerns in launching on Steam after a year on EGS. Our many thanks to Supergiant for letting us film so much candid stuff. We think it made for a really special episode.

Let us know what you think!

So stoked for this. Just been sitting back and waiting for the final release. Can't wait!

Great video, would never have thought releasing the game on another Early Access platform would cause so much anxiety, although of course Steam is a much larger "market" I suppose. Personally I can´t wait till the full game comes out, seems like yet another masterpiece! Speaking of which, is there any news on the Pyre episode?

I'm glad they're putting a focus on replayability. I loved Pyre but I can't replay it: I've got my story, my decisions, my surprises at the curveballs the game keeps throwing at you. So I'm looking forward to Hades once it's done and out on Mac!
