Hey Patrons,

We have loads of early access goodies this month but this one was sort of a late bonus entry.  I got wind of this project a few weeks ago and had the chance to talk to the two indie devs who somehow managed to convince CD Projekt to create a Pokemon Go style game based on The Witcher. It seemed especially interesting considering the timing and how much anticipation there is for Cyberpunk 2077. The interview went really well and I got access to the beta (the American looking gameplay is mine) - so I decided to spin it into a little feature.

It covers the two developer's 10 year journey through mobile games development, and the challenge of bringing The Witcher style quests to mobile. It's a 95% complete cut. I have some work to do on lower thirds and add some more gameplay but it's basically done.

We have loads more coming this month including a big feature on all of Edmund McMillan's games, a short interview about Klei (Don't Starve) and Noclip Summer Jam coming soon (expect a bunch of updates next week. We're also in production on our Dishonored doc, Hades Episode #06, a video about 20 years of Double Fine with Tim Schafer and some new game doc stuff I can't quite talk about yet. Also check out our podcast - we've had some amazing guests on this month! Busy busy busy. I know last month was a little quiet, but we're revving the engine over here.

Enjoy the video and let us know what you think of the edit. It's going public in a few days time.

You guys are kicking absolute butt over there. Thanks for all the great content! This feature sounds super fun and out of left field. Definitely enjoying the new podcast format. Very much looking forward to the Tim Schafer one, especially as a big fan (and backer) of the Double Fine Adventure doc. Enjoy the long weekend folks!

I'd kind of written this off as a Pokémon Go knock off. Thanks for correcting me on the interesting back story.
