Surprise!

So as a bonus to all my $5 and up patrons, I've decided to put together a few behind-the-scenes features showing how Noclip is coming together. In this first episode I bring my camera along for a day of random appointments; recording a podcast at my old job, having lunch with my Patreon liaisons, and catching up with Noclip's go-to camera operator Jeremy Jayne.

If you have any suggestions for future episode let me know, but you can expect a few more of thees in the weeks leading up to our first documentary shoot.

Thanks folks. Enjoy!

Danny

Come Clip With Me #1 - Bay Area Meeting Spree

Today I had a bunch of work appointments in San Francisco and Berkeley. So like a Watch Dogs 2 infomercial, I bounced around the Bay Area area with a camera to give you folks some insight into how we're building Noclip. In this video I head into my old workplace to record a podcast, visit the Patreon offices to make sure I'm doing everything right, and have a meeting in a park with Noclip camera-op Jeremy Jayne.

Loved to see the behind the scenes, nice to see Peter and Mary pop up too!

Dixavd

Yeah. This was a great video. Having in-depth documentary behind-the-scenes videos will be great, but I really appreciate these more casual day-in-the-life videos.

Tohir Tillyaev

Awesome. Glad to see you're all glowing with passion. Also nice to see Mary and some of the other guys. I think you should keep doing this, but maybe in shorter format? Like I felt 24min was a bit too long. I enjoyed all of it but probably for Q&A that's good, for vlogs I think 15min is a sweet spot. Or maybe I'm just tired after the gym and grumpy lol Either way man, great job! Keep pushing!

Kevin Heierman

If you continue producing this much content I'm going to have to increase my pledge...

Brian Hutchings

Great video Danny. Looking foward to listening to that episode of alt+f1.

Jason (Sif Moonweaver)

Great video Danny, really enjoyed it. I definitely would like to see more stuff like this!

Brandon K Gann

Thanks for giving us a look at what Gamespot and Patreon bts looks like Mr. O'Dwyer!

VinnyC

Awesome to finally see the behind the scenes at CBS and Peter's beautiful face. Love these videos!

Biddy Messchaert

Yes please. More like this! It was fun tagging along!

Eirik

Love it! MOARE!!!!! =D

Bavo Debraekeleer

Great vid, super fun! Also super funny you have to quit GS to then make behind the scénes stuff there! xP And don't worry that the docs will take a while to get started. I think I talk for most of us when I say that we're quite satisfied whit these kinds of vids and the live streams. The docs will be a delicious treat when they land! I trust you to make great stuff anyway. I'm supporting you so you can keep doing what you love and that's all I ask. No matter what it is and when we'll get to see it! ;)

Christian Bolstad

Awesome! If you post this much stuff in the future, I'll have to quit my job, and up my pledge.

Poisonmonkey

Love behind the scenes stuff, thanks Danny.

Geoff Searle

As all the above. LOVED IT. Seeing American culture in the background is fascinating for this old Cornishmen. Big bro hug. 👊❤️

Matthew Hall

Great little insight in to the day to day, thanks for that. It's little things like this that makes pledging all that more worth it. Keep up the good work. All the best and looking forward to seeing more!

J McGinley

Thanks Danny, enjoyed this, definitely do more and make it regular (like weekly if poss?) even if they are shorter. Personally, I'm more inclined to follow how it's going through video than other places/discord etc.

Andrew Hardman

Great stuff Danny. I like the idea of you getting out the house, take the time to stay healthy.

Ross Campoli

The behind the scenes stuff with Drew is great

Charles Alan Ratliff

Love behind-the-scenes stuff like this. It was nice to see Drew and Mary. It's also cool that you were able to record, edit, and release in the same day. These updates every couple of days are definitely appreciated.

Adam Fulton

I would, in fact, like more of this (including cat cameos).

Apothecarrion

exactly the kind of comment i was hoping for, thanks danny! loving the channel already

Steffen Rønhovde

Iam eating some amazing grapes and watching this awesomeness! Thx Danny :D

Andrew Duncan

This was a cool video. I look forward to more in the future!

Aaron

Behind the scenes at Patreon and Gamespot with a glimpse of San Fran? Well played!

James Spibey

Good video. I definitely think you could push out a bunch of short 15 min behind the scenes/blooper type material when and as it happens, with weekly/fort nightly q&a at 30 mins. I agree that most of us who are funding want the bigger vids/docs to be not rushed and something your happy with. Great job, keep it up

James Spibey

Just a quick add on - can you post your quick fixes for discord. I had it working but now it's not linking up. Thanks

Peter Rigby

Great work Danny keep it up.

Liam Brown

Very much enjoyed this video as a GBer, good stuff!

Michael Davies

Don't rush Danny take your time we are patient

Tea Bandit

Super excited about future videos. Also, your cats are very precious.

Martin Power

Deadly. On route to Clifden and this is great viewing. As much as I want buckets of content, I just want the quality to be high. So just keep doin what you are doing.

Tony Colton

Really really enjoyed this. Makes me feel like I'm on the noclip journey which is cool as a patron. Great work
