Hey Patrons,

Hope you're all enjoying election day! If you're not, then allow this seven minute video to entertain you for a while.

After six weeks of waiting our DJI Mavic Pro finally arrived! A day early in fact. So I decided to shoot a quick unboxing to show you how it works. Especially as it was your funding which has allowed us to acquire it. We are quickly becoming an autonomous crew that requires no rentals which is really something.

We have a lot of interesting ideas for how to use this in upcoming projects. Plus, while we're on location around the world we're gonna use it for fun behind-the-scenes stuff.

For now though, here's me opening a box!

'...oh God, you can tell it wants to take off ...' I could hear the genuine fear of the drone being present in your home at that point ... i did laugh out loud also ;) Have you seen #BlackMirror yet Dan? The drones will come for us all!!!! The machines, they're taking over!! /noclip delivered. Thank You :)

Funny, my birthday present to myself was a GhostDrone 2.0 VR model. Gyro camera with 4k 30fps, and 1080p up to 120fps. It's controlled by an app on your phone and you set up waypoints for the drone to fly, and it flies itself and you put on the VR Goggles and control the camera to get the shots you want, and it will automatically fly back to the phone if the battery gets low. It's pretty killer. Have a much cheaper $40 drone I bought to practice thinking I would be using a controller and man, it takes some practice to get the hang of using those things in confined areas lol, and outside, unless you're flying one with some weight, any wind will just fly your quad off, next thing you know you're trying to get it out of a tree. Have a few small toy ones that are fun to fly, even have a Millenium Falcon Quadcopter lmao, it's pretty awesome and fly's easier than any of the controller drones I've tried. Anyway, looking forward to seeing what you guys get up to with yours and maybe I'll post some of my vids on my youtube channel :-P stranger things have happened ;-)
