Hey Patrons,

After a week of admin and building furniture it's time to unveil the new studio - albeit in a very unfinished form.

We're gonna be filming and streaming a bunch in here next month so you'll all get to know it very well very soon. We're also gonna be doing interviews there pretty soon too, so the wider plans for here are all coming together nicely.

Check out the video and let us know what you think.

Congratulations! The new space looks fantastic, seems like you've got a lot to work with. It also sounds good(?) - no echo even though you don't have it all filled out yet.

Hey! I worked as outsource QA on Nerf Arena Blast, The company I worked for back in the late-90s was Absolute Quality Inc out of Hunt Valley, Maryland. They were the old QA department from Microprose that, after the Spectrum Holobyte buyout, went independent and set up a 3rd party QA, documentation, Tech Support, and compatibility company that handled all the Hasbro and GT Interactive software as well as a ton of stuff from other publishers. We worked on Unreal, Blood, Mechwarrior 3, the original Rainbow Six, Falcon 4.0. It was crazy cool. After AQ closed down, a lot of the people moved to Bethesda and Firaxis.

Oh my god that's amazing. I wish I knew this when I lived in Annapolis hah! The design team has always perplexed me cos many of them never worked on another game again. I wonder if it was an UT modding project or something, or they were outsourced when Hasbro wanted to make a game. I'd love to know if you have any ideas? https://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/nerf-arena-blast/credits

No, it was run direct through Hasbro, from what I remember. I think Mike Barker was the QA lead, Fran Katsimpiris as his second. Fran and I got called over from working on Roller Coaster Tycoon (she was the lead on that one) and I handled network testing.
