UNLISTED YOUTUBE VERSION: https://youtu.be/HkuUaJHd_-o

Hi Patrons,

Welcome to a brand new show for $10 Noclip Patrons. On our very first Project Postmortem we explore the work that went into our Returning to Monkey Island documentary, and answer your discord questions about the video.

We want to do these for a lot of documentaries in the future so if you like the format (or have any suggestions) please let us know. It's an hour long but if you like the work we do we think it's packed full of production-related insight.  If you have any follow-up questions stick them in the comments and I'd be glad to answer them.

Thanks so much for all your support, we hope you enjoy the show!

Huge fan of this post-doc. It's like watching "this is how the sausage is made" about how the sausage is made. A real sausage inception situation. Hope you do this for all docs moving forward!

Jens Nikolaus

Love it! Personally, I don’t need the moving background, but I listened to it in the background building Lego anyway. Thank you!

Love this! Few suggestions : Would love a doc dissection for telltale, how you navigated the situation whilst telling the story. General supergiant, obsidian and arkane or arkane adjacent like weird West breakdowns please! Think anything half life related could be a doc in itself to how you went from making multiple docs to working with valve directly.

I think this really adds a lot of depth to what working on a Noclip doc means! And that, if anything, just makes me appreciate your work even more, and the (especially research) lengths you go to to make the docs that much more profound. Also, +1 on what Jens said: listened to it on the tram to and from work. And I just love to hear you guys talk it out 👏

Just listened/watched this and sharing tha tI enjoyed it overall. One thought could be that you could have the doc on screen here and there (not always) for reference applicable. But regardless, this was nice. Thank you (PS, the doc in the background is a nice touch!)

Thanks team, love this idea! I always leave docs hungry for answers to questions that the doc itself understandably can't answer. The example here was "why didn't they interview Tim Schafer?"
