What you can see above, is a first glimpse at the new area that will come in the future. But for now I am still working on 0.6.2. Which will be released soon.

(And just ignore the weird stripes on the floor, I accidentally missplaced the texture and don't want to rerender it right now... )

Everything new:

I animated and rendered two new scenes. for 0.6.2.

And I remade the little thank you animation for Patrons.

I also introduced a few new dialogue options with the girls.

And some new options when spending time with the girls.

On top of that I remade the last animations that still had the old cabin in them.

And now you can always watch a scene when you drink the tea. (One of the two new scenes is specifically for that.)

And I wrote a little bit of dialogue and started some small quests that will connect 0.6.2 with 0.7. Nothing major and I am not finished with it yet.

Meanwhile I completed all of the planning for 0.7.

Made a good amount of assets for 0.7 (There are still more needed though)

And as you can see above, I started making the first backgrounds.

For now my plan is working out and I am slowly building up 0.7, while also putting some polish on the game.

0.6.2 will also feature some small new mechanics that I still have to code and a little bit of story to connect to 0.7. After that is done I am bug fixing and tweaking until the release. Which will be, like I promised, In February. So you won't have to wait for much longer.

And even if you skip 0.6.2 to play it together with 0.7, I am also making good progress on that, so all in all a lot of MIST coming your way.Have a good time and stay safe!

You are really improving and the creampie in the last update was *chef's kiss* I've been wondering about the problem regarding the speed of the animations. I know next to nothing about rendering and I understand, I may be out of my field. Couldn't you just render the scene image per image. Delete every second image and compile at the same fps? Should the animation feel too choppy, then couldn't you just render that at double the fps and then delete every other image and compile it at the targeted fps? The faster animations wouldn't be too different from the normal one in regards to the render. The exception that in the loop. The MC would probably more realistically not thrust from the tip to the base. Rather the thrusts being somewhat halfway out and then going all the way to the base inside.

The two scenes in 0.6.2 will already feature some improved animations that do get a bit speedier, so I think some of this problem will be gone in the future, but I think I can explain what the issue is and why it is so difficult for me to do. And sorry if I sound like a teacher lecturing you in the text, I tried writing it differently but it always comes out like that, sorry! First off, animations are sadly really hard and it is a craft you have to learn. There are no shortcuts. No easy tools or step by step tutorials to follow. On top of that, what you are seeing is the live progress of me learning. I started learning 3D two years ago because I wanted to make these games. You could literally go back and see the very first animations I ever did in A Tale of Eden. So one part that is difficult about speedy animations is just frankly my skill. I am not yet good enough to really go all out. Something I am trying to change and have made great progress at, which you probably know already. Second, it is not as simple as speeding the animation up. Faster animations also mean more intense animations. Just increasing the speed, without the intensity, of the sex would leave us with koikatsu rabbit humping, which I personally don't want. So intensity is key to make it look good and intensity is difficult. The more intense, the more parts are moving and the more difficult it is to animate all those different parts. On top of that it is a matter of research and trial and error. For all the animations I do I first look at references both real and in other 3D animations and then analyze how many frames the actions take which parts move when and how quickly, how things interact etc. And analyzing doesn't mean I can do it myself, that is when practice comes back into the mix. With every single animation I do I get better, but as I said before, there are no shortcuts here. Especially because animating takes forever. To give you an idea, animating about 40-60 seconds (about the amount of my usual scenes, all animations combined.) It takes me about 10-16 work hours. With planning, writing, rendering and the sound included I work about 3-4 days on just one scene. Of course I use downtimes while rendering efficiently for writing so not the entire time is spend on the scene, but it is close to it. So the tl;dr: is that I can't just speed it up. I am doing that to a degree by simply increasing the fps to make an animation faster but to get really good results the intensity has to increase too. I am working on it but because animations take a huge amount of time my progress isn't very fast. But we will get there : )

Thank you for the lovely answer. I'm very glad you took your time explaining this to me. As I have said several times in the past and I'd just like to clarify again. YOU ARE improving. A lot. And it shows. I remember seeing your first game on F95zone and it was an odd little thing. The weird thing is, I thought it was actually someone a bit veteran in the field. Giving it a go for the heck of it. Seeing as the assets didn't look like the dime a dozen DAZ studio clone games. The game didn't feature, what I normally look for in adult games being big titty milfs. So I first saw it, when it released. Then you released the first demo of this game (Mist) and I broke the rule I had fostered in that community. Being to wait around 6 months of steady development before supporting a dev. There have been all too many scammers on Patreon and the projects usually die on the 0.2 version as interest is lost, when they realise the amount of work it requires. Or they release barebones updates and milk the system after the first "promising" release. The atmosphere in this game had me hooked and the attention to detail was a delight. It made me feel like you really cared about the game and I started my support right after the 0.3 release.

this tunnel somehow reminded me of Stalker SoC tunnels :D Nice work. Will you make shooter game? ;)

Just wanted to say you're improving very very well and the animations look really good as for the current build. Keep it up and don't stress out too much :D
