I'm SO dang impressed with the quality of this show!! Genuinely blew me away and this finale was GOD TIER. Like actual the buildup to this final battle was SO GOOD. And even with Sir Pentious outcome as well! I like the mini end with them showing up in Heaven and am SO interested so see the outcome of that plot thread now?!

I feel like there is actually too much to talk about with these final episodes, but I also did a lot of yapping during this video lol!

HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY Season 1 finale here! Onward to Season 2 and then Helluva Boss!

Most times, trying to tell me fun facts or giving information about rhetorical questions I'm asking in these episodes is spoiling me on information I may or may not see in future episodes, so please refrain until I'm fully done and caught up with the series. This will be a big read, so I'm sorry about that and also thank you! Oh my gosh, there is so much Hazbin Hotel (and other) content, you have no idea! I know you now know of "Helluva Boss", so that's good. That is definitely a big one. Both shows had their pilots released close together on VivziePop's YouTube channel. They blew up massively and for a lot of years they were everything we had. I could go into the development of it all cause it's so interesting but I don't want to make this longer! I'm also so glad you've watched the pilot now!! I was gonna comment about that buuut now I don't have to! As you may have noticed, the cast is not all the same, when the show got picked up there were a lot of casting changes. For a lot of us who only had the pilot for years and years it was of course so bittersweet. A lot of talented and lovely people were a part of that pilot. After the announcement of the new cast one of the original cast members in the pilot, Gabriel C. Brown, the voice of Alastor, started a project and got a lot of his fellow members involved along with it. The project served as an independent farewell and passing of the torch from the original YouTube pilot voice cast to the new official cast for the Prime Video series. Gabriel, after the release of the pilot, became a major figure in the early fandom by continuing to release highly popular, independent fan songs as Alastor, most notably the viral track "Insane" on his YouTube channel, he was very talented with his writing, so you can imagine the farewell music video from the original cast was quite emotional as well, with its beautiful writing and multiple meanings with his lyrics. It also wasn't just emotional to us who knew these voices for years, it was for a lot of new members of the fandom too that saw the farewell video. There is also another music video that is widely considered canon by fans but is more simply soft canon like the pilot according to VivziePop It is a music video about Angel Dust, "Addict", and after the credits of it there is an extra scene you don't want to miss. I definitely encourage you to pause as much as you'd like while watching and take everything in, for all the videos but especially "Addict".  I think it would be a great thing to watch both the farewell music video and Angel Dust music video, aither react to it (I would love that 💛) or just on your own time. I think you would love them a whole lot too like so many of us. Helluva Boss is awesome! The whole Hellaverse is fun! I recommend starting with Mission Zero instead of episode 1 first. It acts as a pilot of sorts.

Before you jump to season 2 I recommend you to check the recap song of season 1, it's in YouTube and is really good, I feel you'll like it

I liked the long reaction, no complaints here. In my opinion the pilot is still mostly cannon and I disagree with the person who told her it wasn't. Unfortunately I think most of the references to the Pilot were in season one. I'll keep my comments limited to avoid spoiling. It's hard to know what is and isn't a spoiler after all. ; )

To be fair, the mods are being super cautious. I read through the comments both before and after the spoiler purge (or one of them anyway) and many of the posts that got deleted were trying their best to explain stuff without spoilers. This series has a lot going on, and even a simple clarification of the facts presented in an episode can be construed to imply things down the line - cause that's what happens when a show is well written. The mods are taking this seriously and erring on the side of caution - and doing a damn fine job of it.

Thankfully s3 should come out sometime in 2027, im assuming spring or summer. They said the wait between s2 and s3 will be similar to the wait between s1 and s2, which was of about a bit over 1 year and a half. The wait for the rest of the seasons wont be so long cause they all got greenlit and they started working on s4 alongside s3 since they got greenlit together. The final season will be 5 and that one got approved this year so they've already started working on it as well. Once s3 comes out, it'll all move quicker. I can't wait. I also can't wait to watch the reactions to s2 cause those songs were even better than s1 and I didn't think that was possible lol Also, the pilot is still considered soft canon so while it's not exactly important to watch before the show anymore (despite what pilot glazers might tell you), it still provides some nice context that isn't fully addressed in the Amazon show, like Alastor summoning Husk and Niffty. Husk just says Alastor forced him to be there and nothing more. I also watched it after I finishes s1 mostly cause I didn't know there was a pilot until I was already done and I didn't feel like I lost anything by not watching it first so it all worked out

Cartoon designs are simplified and exaggerated. Walt Disney famously noted that adding five rounded fingers to a small, circular hand would make them look like "a bunch of bananas". Four fingers look balanced and expressive without cluttering the design. Many animations have 4 fingers, I'd even say that most.

lol yeah everyone like in most cartoons only have 3 fingers and a thumb though there are some scenes where they have 4 fingers and a thumb must have just slipped through the cracks one scene I remember for sure is charlie in the first episode at one point early on has all 5 its only in for like 20 seconds and the next scene she has 4 again just the quirks of animation.

So to your comment about being told the Pilot isn't canon. This is...kind of true. But a bit misleading imo. Vivzie herself mentioned in a tweet right before season 1 was airing that the events of the pilot are canon. Just some of the visuals (specifically around the lore) aren't canon. Obviously its too late now, but the biggest reason I usually recommend the pilot first to this day is Cherri Bomb.
