Public dev-log #1 (Patreon)

Hey folks!

Welcome to the first public dev-log for HIMS.

First off, a massive thank you to everyone who has joined as a Patreon member, and an even bigger thank you to those choosing to actively support development. It genuinely means a lot.

Since the first release, we’ve been hard at work on Chapter 2, and it’s coming together really well. So well, in fact, that I’m confident we’ll be releasing Chapter 2 for Super Fans on March 14th.

This is the chapter where we really start digging into the core themes of the game.

In terms of scale, this update is bigger than I originally planned. Combined across all routes, we’re sitting at roughly 30,000 words. While writing, it felt natural to expand the NTR route with an additional branching path. I won’t spoil it, but if you enjoy NTRS, you may find certain elements of the NTR route especially interesting.

For NTS/NTRS enjoyers, you’ll decide how much control Kenji maintains as Airi begins gently testing the waters of his new fetish. Depending on your choices, you’ll either hard-lock into a route or face a final decision before the branch occurs. There will be two H-scenes, with variations based on your path.

For fans of NTR, you’ll explore whether suppressing your feelings is really the right move. Keep making “bad” choices… and bad things may follow. There’s one H-scene per branch, plus a bonus scene if you decide to do a little “research.”

As for development status:

 All writing is complete.

 Coding is around 90% done.

Art is now the primary focus for the next two weeks.

I’ve already finished several scenes, and I’m genuinely proud of how they’ve turned out. I hope you’ll enjoy experiencing them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Last week I supporters saw a preview of a character you’ll be seeing much more of. So here he is again — meet Taka.

He’s Kenji’s best friend, someone you may remember from the texting conversation in Chapter 1. He’s always ready with advice about women and someone Kenji trusts completely. Depending on your route… both you and Airi may be seeing quite a bit more of him.

I’ll be posting public character profiles later this week, with supporter-only previews to follow. Unfortunately Patreon doesn’t allow NSFW art to be shown publicly.
