Another Monday means it's time for another dev-log!

How are we? Itching for more Airi content, I bet! Well, let me give you a little update on how things are progressing.

Barring a few scenes that overlap with the NTRS route, the NTS portion of this update is complete! And oh boy... it's good stuff. Crème very much loved it, so if nothing else, it has her seal of approval!

What this means, though, is that I can now focus all my attention on the NTRS route. A certain recent poll told me that this is the fan-favourite route... no pressure then.

This route starts immediately where Chapter 4 ended, so suffice it to say, this update is probably going to be the spiciest one yet!

I'm really happy with what I've written for this route, and I enjoyed finding ways to incorporate the different kinks. Depending on which sub-branch you're on, you'll get to enjoy a different experience, so I imagine there will be a few replays for the completionists among you.

I'm hoping to have the main scene complete by the end of this week, leaving next week to finish the latter half of the update, which sets the scene for Chapter 6.

Now it's become a little tradition around these parts to give you a little taste of our leading lady in some sort of non-canon (SFW) setting. A few of you have been asking if I'd ever do a goth version of Airi.

For the main story in HIMS? Maybe not... but that doesn't mean I can't show you how Airi rocks the goth look!

I liked this version of Airi so much that I've decided to make a little Airi Archive entry featuring her. "What is the Airi Archive?" I hear you ask. It's a little side project I like to work on between updates, telling fun, non-canon stories. These are exclusive to supporters, and my intention is to make them whenever I have the time or just need a little break from whatever I'm currently working on.

I'm also open to making these based on supporter suggestions, so don't be afraid to throw some ideas my way! Here's a little teaser of the first one I made.

Finally, here's an update on what's coming in the run-up to release.

Alongside the Goth Airi Archive, supporters will also get to vote on this update's end-screen image. I don't want to put Naked Apron Airi in as an option... I'm worried you'll all hurt me again...

I'm joking...

Dr. Airi will also be back to complete her very important survey on your favourite content, so start thinking about what your favourite scene from the Cheating route has been ahead of the vote!

I finally caught up and think you're doing amazing work! I love how you consistently present these as Airi doing it because of how devoted and loving she is to Kenji. Because of that though, I personally think the cheating route escalated too quickly, it feels like its missing a clear headed yes from Kenji to Airi, and/or that the end of chapter 3 should've still been her testing him, not for it to be confirmed it truly happened at the beginning of chapter 4. IMO that's what would keep it as exploring the kink vs. just plain cheating.

But also, take my opinion with a huge grain of salt because I'm probably one of the few that didn't love how the NTS/NTRS cliffhanger went down. Overall though, I think you're crushing it!

I get where you're coming from. For me the cheating route (excluding NTR) is the riskiest route of all. I personally want that line of consent to feel murky and both Airi and Kenji to question where the line is. I think it makes it all a bit more thrilling personally. But it's different strokes for different folks! Glad you're enjoying the game regardless :)

Ok! I was wondering if that was intentional, I just don't love how currently it reads as Kenji's silence acts as consent for her actions, but that's also why I said the and/or part, with 3-4. The line would still be murky, but then it would also be clear that Airi really is doing this for him since that's a major part of her character in all the routes. I think I just mainly wished there was a type of check in, one where his mind isn't clouded from what she's doing to him, between them in all the routes like there was at the end of NTS but I also get why that doesn't totally fit every route.

Thanks for listening and responding though! I can't wait to see what else you come up with! I figured I'd balance this out by giving a little more praise too. I really think you've done well on with Airi as the FMC, she's clearly a devoted wife that loves to please ;). Ryosuke, love to hate him, and Takamura, love to love him but wondering if that might change on that NTRS route... I also recognize some of the hints you've been dropping along the way, especially in certain routes, but I won't say more just in case. I have a feeling that I'm going to continue to be very glad and very mad on certain routes (In a good way).

I don see why no Goth Airi could be visible ? maybe he gets a fantasy one day and she tries to please him, even as a side-event in the game or so. Or even a canon-halloween flashback story when she played a Goth girl and him a guy or whatever is the combo there. Also just a couple of comments regarding the Goth Airi look: This one here is more about hard metalhead fan than Gothic. For her to be gothic she needs to have a black or atleast a violet hair which is the top tier hair color for goths, black lipgloss, black eyeshadow and eyeliners, black or maybe purple nails. And ultimately a more slutty looking than this metal-music fan fit. But it's a good start.
