June recap and July update! (Patreon)

Hi all! Another month already gone and that's a wrap on the first half of the year, holy smokes!! Hope everyone had a great June/pride month! It was a weird month for me in my personal life, but a good one here on Patreon and game development! I hit 200 followers on this account and the game I'm a dev on had it's chapter 6 release! Anywho, I'm here to do a quick recap on last month's mods and provide an update for this month's Sweet Pickles mods! June had a total of 25 hairs (or 28 depending on if you count the monthly hair hat alts) compared to May's 26 (queue Dudley Dursley's one less present than last year meltdown) and one hat with an alt version. I originally also planned to release some necklaces with last month's mods but I honestly just lost the motivation to texture them from scratch, sorry my sweet pickles!

Sweet Pickles M03 mods

For July, I got some hair suggestions that combined two different hairs and I figured I'd try my hand at combining the mesh and bones in Blender rather than do all the combos in Character Creator. If it doesn't work out because I'm an amateur Blender user, then it'll just be two normal hairs, but if it DOES work, then I'll have made the most customized hair thus far, which I'm hoping for! Don't hold me to it because that's too much pressure and I work terribly under pressure. At the very least it'll be another 2 hairs for the Sweet Pickles tier. The plan is the get the base of hair #2 and combine it with the ponytail of hair #4. I've already been messing around with the hair models but it's giving me more trouble than I was expecting so I've restarted the process a few times. Hopefully the next one will finally be the one that works!!

What's even more exciting is I'm planning to release my first clothing item for July! I've been making clothes for a bit but never released any since I didn't think they were really that good. There was always clipping and things didn't fit that well but I'm happy enough with this floral tank top to share it with more people than just Cure (sorry cure lol). I'm still quite new to clothing modding so bear with me during this learning period. I haven't decided if I'm going to release any additional accessory for my Sweet Pickles tier this month since I prefer to release the mods early in the month but I'm thinking I'll just make a separate post for it if I do (perhaps the necklaces finally?).

Another update that mainly is aimed towards making my Sweet Pickles tier even MORE enticing is that I'm going to start making older paid hair packs available as part of the sub. With every new hair pack I release, I'm going to add the hair pack ten packs prior into the Sweet Pickles tier. So basically if X is the hair pack I'm releasing, then hair pack X - 10 will be added to the sub. Since my very first hair pack was free, this system actually starts with release of hair pack #12 which then means hair pack #2 will be added to the sub.

I release around 3 hair packs a month, so that means you can get all my monthly mods AND 3 hair packs for the cheap cheap price of 5 dollars. I'd say that's a pretty good deal and perhaps even a steal??? Since it'll start getting annoying tracking down which hair packs are available for the Sweet Pickles tier, I'll be setting up a Mega account for all mods I make available to that tier and I'll include the link as part of the welcome message or send it out via DM.

With regard to my non-Sweet Pickles mods, I think I'm starting to get into a decent routine with the mod releases and managing my time for my other responsibilities so I want to tentatively say 2-3 paid hair packs and 3-4 free hair packs can be reasonably expected each month. I can't say for sure there won't be months that I'm not able to make as many mods, but I do hope to keep providing lots of hairs (and other fun stuff) for everyone still interested in them!
