Bran can now see the past, present and future

The actor of Hodor made it clear that Bran was no longer in control of Hodor during his final stand at the door; Bran only warged into Hodor to get them to the door.

Hodor’s entire life is shaped by his final moments. While Bran is experiencing a vision of young Wylis in the past, he simultaneously wargs into present-day Hodor so Hodor can carry him away from the White Walkers. Meera repeatedly screams at Hodor to “hold the door” while he physically holds it shut, sacrificing himself so Bran and Meera can escape. Because Bran is connected to both past Wylis and present Hodor at the same time, the terror and command from Hodor’s death appear to pass through Bran into young Wylis. Wylis collapses into a seizure, repeatedly screaming “Hold the door!” until the phrase gradually contracts into “Hodor.”

That’s one of the biggest episodes in the entire series you just watched. “The door” episode alone was sick viral at the time of its release. Yes, Hodor didn’t deserve that at all and that’s one of the major reasons. But it’s just Destiny. They can’t change whatever happens, they can only see the past, present and sometimes the future. What gets most people about this scene is watching the Tragic Destiny of an innocent stable boy play out in this show that has always been about the high borns, lords and ladies. Somehow, even that boy’s destiny was tied to a highborn’s success💔

The White walkers been looking for the three eyed Ravens since cause he always see the man come spy on him, and can see what he’s doing. Thts a threat to the White walkers. Cause that means the humans will always be ahead of them, cause they got someone who can always spy on them. And knows all of their history, stuff that made them, stuff that can kill them, etc. but the old man used to spy and not get too close or get touched. Then Bran fucked up

I get what you mean by you feeling like you wanna be a part of the iron born Yunno. We all do get that feeling for many parts of this show. There’s literally a fan section that would love to serve the many faced God lol. Some people love the lord of light- “For the night is dark and full of terrors, the prince that was promised, etc. But yeah, the iron born are cool and shit. For what is dead May never die❤️

Bran’s present self warged into Hodor while in the past…before bran was even born. It’s worth noting this another example we see of him manipulating/being able to affect the past. As a result young Hodor sees his future death and is left with that trauma for the rest of his life. Everyone thinks Hodor is a big scared guy and while that may be true because he is scared of dying, he knew what laid ahead and STILL held the door to help save Bran 😭. It is VERY sad that was his life’s purpose and your thoughts about the impact of his sacrifice for Bran may or may not change when you finish the show lol
