Katherine killed Caroline but she only had Damon's blood in her. Bonnie asked him to save Caroline. Logan the reporter guy turned because he had Anna's blood in him (she was compelling him to get info) when he was killed. He had shot Stefan. Stefan and Damon turned because they had Katherine's blood in them when they were killed by their father for trying to help Katherine.

I had a pool years ago and if someone got hurt while swimming they could sue you, etc. My husband had his ex type a formal letter that if you swimmed at out house we are not liable for anything. She worked in an attorneys office. They could sue us but the form helped us if anyone got hurt which thankfully never did

Katherine, though annoying, did end up being one of my favorite characters 😂. I do have a soft spot for villains but only villains with very layered, very complex traits/ plot lines. I know we haven’t seen much of Katherine’s plotting up to this point but even in this episode she’s a masterful planner. She has a large network of people & managed to learn other people’s weaknesses, avoid getting caught up, ensured the Salvatore’s survived by having them drink her blood and before returning to Mystic Falls she’s been sipping vervain daily so it can’t disable her. Also, by the end of the episode we still don’t know what her plan is.
