So glad you're reacting to this series because I've only seen a bunch of clips on YouTube. The EROTICISM ohmigod. By the way, just wanted to mention that your mic volume is rather loud compared to the episode of Heated Rivalry hehehe.

Michele Willard

I really enjoyed your reaction, followed you from your utube Ren reactions. Other heated rivalry reactions I’ve watched on patreon don’t blur out anything, it’s shown in all it glory 😊. I’m an Ilya fan, but that only really occurred after watching the whole series. Both characters are amazing, and if you get the chance to read the books after the series it does give you a little bit more insight into the characters. Looking forward to episode 2. If you carry on your TV reactions I would like to recommend Interview with the Vampire (the tv series not the film). There are already two seasons and the third is coming out in june. It is probably the best thing I have ever watched

Catherine Strachan

Connor Storrie who plays Rozanov is actually from Texas!!. I think he's beautiful 😍 Historically, the NHL was very homophobic but this show has helped with that a great deal. You don't have to sensor the show at all on Patreon. I love your reaction so far...i knew you'd love it ❤️

Bob Rogers

it could be just homosexual cottas

gothamnightlights

Oh wow, I’m from Texas too! I was nervous that if I didn’t edit it would turn 18+ and you can’t post free 18+ content!! I’ll try with the next one and see if it effects in any way :) I’m so grateful for you coming over to watch, much love 💙💙

gothamnightlights

Thank you for letting me know! I was worried if I didn’t blur some stuff out it would force my account into 18+ and wouldn’t allow me to post free content! But I’m glad I know now, thank you :) I’ll definitely check out the books depending on my thoughts when I finish! And my mom loves that vampire show so I’ve been meaning to check it out! Much love 💙🙏🏻

gothamnightlights

Thank you for letting me know! I’ll definitely keep that in mind when editing the next one :) Much love 🙏🏻💙

Catherine Strachan

Hey, if you have to start charging for content so you don't have to sensor stuff, I'm very happy to pay 😊 xx

SlytherinButtafly

Literally just finished watching your reaction on YT, left a comment, and here I am now 🤣 Edit: regarding the books, HR is book 2 in a series called Game Changers. Currently there are 2 books that center on Shane and Ilya, which are Heated Rivalry (book 2) and The Long Game (book 6). The author Rachel Reid is working on book 7 called Unrivaled, which will also center around Hollanov. All the other stories are about the other characters in that universe.

gothamnightlights

That is very kind of you :) I’ll just upload the next one with no censoring and see if it’ll make me charge or not! 🙏🏻💙

Adavan

I really enjoyed your reaction!! You were locked into the story for the most part and noticed a lot of important things. This is a show that demands you pay attention to a lot of the smaller subtleties and nuances, so I really appreciate you pausing any time you had anything lengthier to say. I also really appreciate your frankness in letting us know where you're coming to the show from. I sincerely hope you enjoy the rest of the episodes and that you allow the story to play out and don't jump to conclusions or make assumptions like a lot of other reactors do. 1. The only thing I ask when it comes to Ilya (I am an Ilya ride or die! 😁) is that you don't just write him off, that you allow for a bit of grace towards him and you try to understand where his character is in terms of the story. Both the boys are GORGEOUS characters, full of layers and flaws. People tend to try and villainize Ilya and infantilize Shane, which does both characters a major disservice. 2. It has been revealed (by the author of the books, the director, and by Shane's actor, Hudson Williams) that Shane has undiagnosed Autism, which, once you know it, becomes very obvious in the way the character interacts with people and situations. 3. The NHL (fictionally called the MLH in the series) and hockey culture in general is INCREDIBLY homophobic. Things have changed a bit in the last decade, but the progress is incredibly slow. For example, there has still, as of 2026, never been an openly gay player in the NHL, not while they were playing, anyway. I think one or two players came out long after they retired, but that's the extent. This show has made some inroads into penetrating that awful hockey culture, but there is still a long way to go. 4. I've watched a bunch of Patreon reactions (way too many, actually! 😄) and none of them have had to blur anything out. YouTube, of course, has to be edited like CRAZY! But Patreon is fine. 5. I agree wholeheartedly that both these men are ridiculously beautiful! And they both do an incredible job with their roles. As people have already mentioned, Connor Storrie (Ilya) is born and raised in Texas with no Russian heritage. He learned Russian for the role, in approximately three to four weeks. He perfected the accent to the point that many Russian speakers were sure that if he wasn't a native Russian speaker himself, then he had Russian parents and spoke Russian as a second language. It's VERY impressive! 6. Finally, just try to remember that for these two young guys with incredibly different and lacking communication styles, sex IS communication. You were locked in on the sex scenes in this episode which is really important because those scenes actually do a LOT in the way of plot and character development. (On top of being hot af! 😝) Anyway, I apologize for my novel! I'm always so happy to find new reactors who seem to have depth and the ability to analyze and understand the plot and the characters. Can't WAIT for the next episodes!!

Tymm Reacts

You are so fucking adorable. I'm a soon-to-be, (April 16), 61 year old. I wish I had a show like this or like "Heartstopper" on Netflix...which I'd love to see your reaction to... when I was younger. I think my life would have been different if I'd had representation like this. "Hollanov" is one of my favourite ships ever. Ilya was a character I did not like in the first two episodes, but, I loved after episode 4. Also, I read all the books and Hollanov are featured in each. I love them dearly and wish I could have had them in my late teens/early twenties.

Melanie LeBlanc

There are 6 books and the author is writing the 7th book right now. Books 2, 6 and the 7th feature Shane and Ilya. They are working on season 2. It should be released in 2027. This is a romance series, so expect more emotions as the season progresses. The first 2 episodes have more sex because they are so young and only get to see each other a few times a year. The emotions develop as they get older. There are no out, gay players in professional hockey so they both think that they could never really be together. They are the 2 best players in the world and their careers are very important to them.

Craig Hodge

I hate to burst your bubble but Connor Storrie is from Texas and learned Russian is a couple of weeks.

Trent Tellier

Not sure how it works with the “free content can’t be 18+” because all Patreon reactions I have watched were behind a paywall. Even if it’s just a dollar or less (idk how little they allow you to do it) that could solve the problem if they do block the unblurred video as free content. Although you could do more and make some good money I’ve personally paid too much money to watch people watch this show 😂 and I know I’m not alone haha Anyways much love thanks for the wonderful reaction

Shane Cawley

what a pleasure to watch this with you. an open honest gay man Shane is 17 at the start here and Ilya is 18 The time jumps really span the characters as they change and sex changes as emotions change. the sex is importanr as it defines the characters growth looking forward to watch ep 2 with you Thankls

Emma Langston

I can never get over how hot the first episode is. Like Hudson takes my breath away every time.

Shane Cawley

one more thing to add Shane is neuro divergent and on the spectrum. you can see with the folding of the clothes when he takes them off , his difficulty socially. It's harder for him to speak up. ihis intense focus on hockey that's mportant to know as we move forward.

Knicks

Shane is on the Spectrum, so u may notice he folds his clothes, not much eye contact, little tics here & there.

C Deer

Coming here from YouTube; I loved your reaction! Your candor and vibe are refreshingly real. One word of caution—this is the most spoiler happy fandom I’ve ever been a part of. People will tell you plot points from any and all of the books (6 of them!) or things the author has said as “context” or just outright answer a question that you might not actually have meant you wanted an immediate answer to. So just be careful in the comments if you want to go in blind (which I really really recommend-I say this as someone who loves the story and read the books first. I so wish I could’ve seen the show without having an idea of what was going to happen!). Looking forward to seeing the rest of your reactions.

ned flinn

I very much appreciate your reactions. I'm a 71 yo gay man (out since I was 20). I've watched a lot of reactions to HR and I find yours to be fun and excellent. I enjoy a young gay man's perspective. Looking forward to your videos of ep.2-6. I expect you will be as captivated with this show as I am. Thanks so much.

Sandrine Cassandre MADOLA LOBE

Thanks for the free contents I saw you on YouTube and I came here I'm going to watch both YouTube and here

Robin

I came here to say stuff but you've covered everything perfectly. One thing I might add is that Ilya has a wicked sense of humor and was kidding about leaving Shane unsatisfied. He's a VERY considerate lover and would never.

Robin

I've watched sooooo many people react to this show and you might be in my top 3 favorites. You're really locked in and paying attention and that's exactly what this show requires.

Robin

They're both fighting really hard (and often failing) to stay casual and deny their feelings because of their lives and careers and countries and expectations. So keep that in mind for future episodes. Speaking of future episodes, when will you be bingeing the rest of the season?

Adavan

Yes!! I thought of that in the moment too, but forgot to mention it. So thanks! 😊

Ashley Phelps

Another thing to add to other people's comments to keep in mind going forward is Russia is EXTREMELY homophobic, Ilya if he gets outed could be put in jail or even killed in Russia so when he is in America he feels a little more free to be himself but still needs to be careful not to be outed to maintain his work visa and stay in the US

KeepitKP

You're so invested I love it! I know you're already going to enjoy the rest of the series and I look forward to your reactions.

Ian Mossner

I would describe Connor as sexy and Hudson as cute. And I like both in a man.

james

Enjoying watching it again with you. When you said early on that you love butts I had to laugh and think "Just you wait!" Like you I am more into Shane as I love that sweet energy. After you complete the series you might want to watch some of the cast interviews. It turns out that Connor, who plays Ilya, is actually the sweet and loveable guy and thus in RL I like Connor's energy more. But the show is great and the actors incredible. I agree with others when I say that I have already paid for people's patreon reactions and would happily pay a small monthly if you decide to move behind a paywall to get past some of the restrictions.

Nic Krol

I just love it when an actual gay man watch this show cuz there's a lot of nuances and dynamic with hollanov's relationship that goes over straight people's head's when watching this show

Dee

What a fun watch this is going to be with you. I love your reaction so far 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

MavenCree

You don't even know the level of acting these two are showing until you see them in real life interviews. Basically, they're playing against type. Connor Storrie (Ilya) is a human Golden Retriever, and Hudson Williams (Shane) is a Level 40 Chaos Gremlin. 😂

MavenCree

Technically, aside from the occasional cake shot, you're not actually seeing anything... you just think you are. Master direction!

MavenCree

Interesting that the moment you start talking about hook-up culture is when it stops being just that for Ilya. Yeah, he hooks up with a lot of people, but he's not out there giving his number to them. Shane is different for him.

MavenCree

Ilya's not bitter. He's just bracing himself for dealing with his family... explaining to his father why he 'lost' Rookie of the Year. How much money is he going to have to give his brother. What's going on with his dad's memory... He's got shite going on.

MavenCree

"I'm kinda fucking with these time jumps..." Well, sir..... 😂

Rsbl

Can’t wait for the rest of the season ✨ I loved your reaction

JoeTheLion

What an excellent reaction! Announcing on YT this can be viewed for free on your patreon - you'll have close to 1k subscribers in 2 weeks.

Mark Edwards

Enjoyed your reaction. One of the better out there. Looking forward to watching the rest of the series with you. Agree with others who say you should add a charge to avoid needing to blur. When I initially watched, I thought the show was soft core with a better narrative. But after multiple rewatches and reading the books, I really enjoy the subtle layers of meaning here.

gothamnightlights

I greatly appreciate you being here, it means the world to me :) I'm sending much love to you and yours <3

gothamnightlights

Thank you so much for your support!!!!! That is so kind :) I hope you are doing well, much love!! <3

gothamnightlights

I'll definitely check out some cast interviews after I finish! And I appreciate that; I'm going to post the next video fully unedited and see how Patreon reacts lol. Your support means the world to me :) Much love!

gothamnightlights

I absolutely had no idea that Russia was so strict in that regard! Thank you for educating me on that. Much love to you!

gothamnightlights

I'm trying to sort that out now :) It took me a day to edit all the different versions of my reaction so I'm trying to see what my time window is for filming, editing and posting on all platforms - but definitely not a long stretch of time between each upload!

gothamnightlights

Thank you for this!!! I've yet to have anything spoiled for me but I'll be keeping this in the back of my mind going forward! Also- thank you so much for your kind words :) I hope you and your loved ones are doing well, much love!

gothamnightlights

I'm just going to post the next reaction fully unedited and hope Patreon goes with the flow lol. Thank you for being here, much love to you!

gothamnightlights

Having grown up with Lady Gaga and the likes, I can't imagine what is must have been like feeling so unrepresented and unseen by the world. But I'm happy that has changed, for you and for everyone :) I'll definitely check out the books once I finish this first season! I've heard nothing but good things about them. Also, I greatly appreciate you being here :) Much, much love to you

gothamnightlights

No please don't apologize! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to comment this and I'll definitely be keeping this in the back of my mind while diving into episode two! With my whole heart I appreciate you so much!!

gothamnightlights

Thank you for your kind words and for being here, I greatly appreciate it :) As for the editing, I'm going to post the next one with no blurring and see how Patreon reacts. Thank you so much for your support, much love to you!

MavenCree

As Ilya is such a public figure, they'd want to make an example of him. After some "re-education" he'd make a public apology and then a little while later be found at the bottom of a ravine or something. Officially, a suicide over the guilt. It's actually happened before in countries with laws like this.

MavenCree

I love that instead of finding it weird, Ilya finds it endearing. That full big smile he has as Shane folds his clothes... that's not laughing at him, he thinks it's cute.

MavenCree

You can kinda tell what the shooting order was based on how close Hudson's poor shirt is to bursting. He just kept putting on more muscle. lol

MavenCree

Perfect. It drives me crazy when reactors keep yelling, "Just communicate, you guys! Why don't they talk?!" Completely ignoring that they ARE communicating physically (which is why ever sex scene is different... they're saying something different every time.), because they literally CAN'T do so verbally. One is still learning English, one is Autistic and can't really read people. Different background and cultures, not to mention hockey culture. Ilya was raised not to talk about things and is always on edge... it's why he's so good at reading people's body language... which is why he's so good at chirping other people. Shane literally mimics what he sees cause he can't figure it out on his own. When he has no frame of reference, he just can't talk. How the 'just talk' folk aren't seeing this... I'll never know. It's literally right there.

MavenCree

I like how you're locked into what's happening on the screen. This show is Canadian, and done a bit old school... most new shows will literally spell everything out verbally because they assume the audience will be on their phones or talking to someone or just not focusing. A lot of progress in this show happens by watching the body language... especially the eyes of the actors. They don't say what's happing or what just happened. You're expected to pay attention in order to get it. And you did. Well done. Looking forward to your next episode.

Roger Smith

Hey Dylan - I enjoyed your commentary. I appreciate your honesty and vulnerability. I look forward to Episode 2. I know you've done lots of videos, so it's presumptuous of me to offer a suggestion - but when has that stopped me? I suggest that you not comment over the video with more than the fewest of words. Otherwise you miss parts of the show and so do we. I like the things you have to say, but it would be grand if you'd pause the video when you say them. Thanks again for opening up to us in your reactions.

Shane Cawley

2 things to say here. What’s different about HR is it does not speak down to its audience. So many shows made now do as the target audience is 16 thru 24 and with IG and Tik Tok a limited attention span. It’s refreshing. Secondly. Ilya has a rough background. Everyone he has loved has abused him and left him. He is very afraid to show love to Shane as he is scared he will be left again. Also he has Russian passport and a US visa. If Russia finds out about him and they pull his passport he will be a man without a country left again. This time with even more consequences

Shane Cawley

The time jumps work as narrative. They flow with the ability of the boys to open up emotionally.

Craig

Fantastic reaction vid. I loved your insight. I sometimes got a bit irritated when you spoke over an ongoing scene but I think I'm just overly obsessed with the whole thing and honestly I didn't want you to miss anything I deemed important. Like Ilya's phone conversations with his brother Alexei. In every one of those phone calls Alexei calls Ilya the f-slur and I kinda wanted you to react to that. You also get hints through the phone calls that something might be going on with Ilya's dad, over and above his overbearing nature and domineering attitude towards Ilya. Lastly, I found your irritation for Scott Hunter a little amusing. They are cleverly "sprinkling" him in throughout the initial episodes and you will eventually understand why and you will no longer be irritated by him. I am so looking forward to watching you watch the rest of my favourite show of all times featuring the most incredible acting, directing, lighting, music, and heartwarming and inspiring storyline. Thank you D

"I love ass" (Patiently waits for communal shower)

Mitch Nawojczyk

You're going to love the rest of the episodes. Loved your reaction. As far as what you can show on Patreon, other creators have shown the entire episode without the blur. Admittedly, I don't know what the actual rules are though. When you're ready to react to some more movies, let me know, I have several LGBTQ+ movies to suggest.

WhitB

Love your reaction. 2 things to know: 1) Shane is canonically autistic, hence his sometimes awkwardness and 2) this is slow burn on the romance, fast burn on the sex (much like real life especially with so many obstacles in their way). If you love atmosphere (and ass) this show is for you!

Amber

Love your reaction, I definitely hope you continue watching the rest of the season. It only gets better.

Nick Mancini

Really enjoyed your reaction! Also really appreciate making your uncut reactions available for free

SirMatelot

Beautiful reaction! I'm loving how you're looking at your viewers through the camera, not just saying your thoughts but showing them physically. Love from Seattle SirMatelot (mat-a-lo)

Love your reaction!! Can't wait for the next episode Sending you love from Paris :) You look gorgeous by the way!!!

Carly Shue

why does everyone want Shane to get pregnant lol 😂

Carly Shue

Scott hunter catching strays already lol 😆 I'm loving this for you

Devin Rhodriquez

ohhh im so ready for the rest of your reactions. when when whennnn ? pls and tysm in advance lol

WILLIAM jewelry

The boys are suppose to be about 16 or 17 when they first meet. So you can remember how horney you were at that time. Raging hormones! That is why it is so hot and intense.

WILLIAM jewelry

The actor Conner Storrie (Ilya Rozenov) was a gymnast and has a absolutely amazing ass. He even has a VERIZON recent ad that features it and when he was on SNL they made a big deal about it too.

northboy69

As someone has probably already told you, the actor playing Ilya - Connor Storrie - isn't Russian. He's American: a Texan. He worked with a dialect coach learning the Russian language text and accent starting just a few weeks before they started shooting and continued working with her throughout the shoot. The level of his acting on display in this is just phenomenal! (And, yes. Truly the most spectacular backside on display ever!) The two of them are both tremendous talents that have exploded onto the scene with this show. And they're gorgeous, to boot, as you noted early on. Looking forward to journeying through the show again with you. So glad that you're doing this.

Hanna Quinn

Omg I loved your reaction!! Please keep going it just gets better!!!

Stephen Moose

hey... I love your reactions... and you look great..

started to watch on YT, but 10mins into the video I had to come over here and watch the raw version.. you totally drew me in. great vibes and love your voice, btw too.. can't wait for the other episodes. looking forward to rewatch this with you! (don't know why, though, but the picture quality was quite bad here compared to on YT.. at least for me..)

Craig

Wow...thanks 😊

Jeffrey Duteil

Hey Dylan! I discovered you from your Dimash reactions. (I’m a gay “Dear,”too.) I’ve watched other Patreon reactions of HR and they weren’t blocked or edited at all. Do you have to censor because your channel is free? If so, start a subscription price! I’ll subscribe! (Btw, you are adorably hot yourself!)

Mitch Nawojczyk

May I suggest that you set up chat capabilities here on Patreon where there can be a community chat as well as DMs. There are also a lot of Patreon creators who have Discord and those can be fun little communities to hang out with and ways for people to get to know you and each other. //Mitch in Houston

ondraya

Thought I'd share that Shane's character is autistic! This is never explicitly stated in the book or show, but it is important to understanding his character. The author Rachel Reid, the director and creator of the show Jacob Tierney, and Shane's actor Hudson Williams have all confirmed that that was an intentional character choice for the character. The only reason it's unacknowledged within the story itself is because Shane is undiagnosed. Hudson took a lot of inspiration for his performance from his own autistic father. Going forward you might notice some of these traits in Shane like the flat affect on his voice, the way he struggles to make eye contact sometimes, the way he struggles with processing his emotions, sometimes not reading the room or responding too literally, his attachment to routine and rules (like how he folds his clothes), etc. Hudson is not new to acting, but this was the first big, leading role for both him and Connor (Ilya). Connor and Hudson were both waiters and aspiring actors and filmmakers before Heated Rivalry. Connor had a small role in Joker 2, but has had mainly smaller roles. Hudson is an avid cinephile who has a plethora of short films that he's either acted in or directed or both, through his film school in Canada or just with his fellow actor friends. Connor is from Texas, but lives in LA and also short films and has even already filmed his first project with him as director. Heated Rivalry has opened so many more doors for them since and there's a handful of roles we'll be seeing them in going forward, aside from Heated Rivalry Season 2 of course. There are currently 6 books in the series, with a 7th coming out next year. But each book focuses on a different couple in the same universe. Shane and Ilya's books are Heated Rivalry (#2), The Long Game (#6) and Unrivaled (#7).

Joshua Rodman

I think every reactor gets into stimming themselves with approximated Rosanov's accent. It's fun and sexy, why not? There's a fair amount of density to the subtextual elements. Depending upon preferences, it might be worth a second watch between episodes or at the end. While I don't super love the books (the way that the sex gets laid out on the page feels a bit weird to me and bores me at the same time), I really enjoyed the way the writer tackled meds getting in the way of eroticism in Tough Guy. And then self image getting in the way of the ability to be loved in Role Model. In case that was misleading, Shane and Ilya have two books about them out currently. The others are about other people in a connected universe. A third for Shane and Ilya is in the works.

gothamnightlights

I didn’t even realize I could have a chat/community thing on Patreon! I’ll definitely get that activated. And I never really thought about starting a discord considering I would have noooooo idea how to use it but that might actually be fun :) Thank you for this 🙏🏻💙

MavenCree

King of all Asses. 🍑

Joshua Rodman

Many creators do one pass of obscuring and then a second pass of editing down for youtube. Doing totally different levels of censoring is more plausible if you have someone to outsource the edits to. It takes a long time.

Joshua Rodman

According to some native speakers, his Russian delivery is pretty rough to start off with (no surprise) but delivers everything in the later episodes.

Joshua Rodman

Well, we know why Hayden wants this *wink*

Joshua Rodman

Discord management is... some amount of work. There's a bit keeping people in line for the eventual social friction. Just my 2 cents. As for media, i feel like most queer media tends to fall into coming of age stories and trauma, and sometimes both at once. Those are fine, but they tend to slot for me into painful or wholesome with the wholesome ones often feel like they're speaking to teenagers. Shelter was always one of my favorite simple but wholesome films. It's from a bit of a different time as it really has a lens on what family means for gay men, in a time when that was actively under attack. Looking was a 2014 hbo show bout gays in San Francisco (and their wider social circle), really spotlighting the kinds of bad decisions we make in our awkward twenties while trying to struggle to find healthy life and love. What's good about it is the characters are well realized and complex in their messiness. Our anxious lead is enderaing while also making you want to smack him one from time to time. If women loving women content speaks to you at all, Feel Good is certainly well put together, although I struggled with it like I struggle with all content with heavy addiction components (euphoria etc). Though I think picking content that speaks to you matters more than content people clamor for. Ultimately the largest numbers of people will be interested in recent media. And pursuing that is of course sensible if you want to find a way for this to make some money.

splendidvie

i just found you! What an amazing reaction. Looking forward to following your channel and the next episodes.

Nana 95

"One thing about me is that I love ass" well, you will have a whole buffet with this show 😅

Antonio

I feel wrong watching this for free. Nobody would blame you if you add a paywall. Especially with this show, you would definitely get subs and earn some coin in the process. Just sayin 🤷‍♂️

SirMatelot

One note about the scene when Hayden invites Shane for dinner: you were supposed to misinterpret it. . . I think we all were.

Joshua Rodman

Oh for sure, the show was playing with the audience. I think it's a Shane POV thing, showing the kinds of feelings of confusion he's likely to have in moments like that.

Maria

I don’t know if you’ll eventually want to read the books, but there is one book in the series where the main character has anxiety and is on SSRIs and it affects his sex drive some. The sex is still hot and the love story is very sweet. He is name dropped in a later episode of this season so I’m hoping we’ll get some of his story in a later season.

Jason L

Fantastic reaction to this great series. I felt exactly the same way about Ilya's treatment of Shane, but understood his mindset more as the series progressed. You seem like a really nice guy and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your reactions as the series goes on. Keep up the good work.

Chris McCleary

I don’t think it’s as obvious in the show, but at the press conference before the All-Stars game in Nashville, the questions is too long for Ilya to follow and hers really struggling with his English at that point, and that’s why Shane jumps in with an answer, which is incredibly sweet

Chris McCleary

Love your reactions! Came her after finding you on YouTube!

Tami

Watched the first 6 minutes of this reaction on YouTube and really liked your vibe so I came over to join your Patreon right away! Really looking forward to your reactions to the rest of this amazing series! Also, I really appreciate your honesty and openness about your personal life.

Tami

As soon as you said you loved ass, all I could think was, I can't wait til he sees that shower scene! 😁

ryle

WE maybe were supposed to misinterpret it, but i don't think shane was confused. they're teammates, and he would know that his best friend is married with children.

ryle

don't forget when it comes to shane being regimented that ginger ale is his go-to beverage, since that one is subtly important!

ryle

one point on the progress out hockey players is that there is an out hockey player in the NHL minor leagues. his name is luke prokop and he plays for the nashville predators minor league team, so it is possible that he could be called up to play in the NHL one day, although at age 23 and still no call-up, it does seem increasingly unlikely that he will officially play in the NHL, but one never knows...

Insatiate Hope

The way I ran straight over here after watching the first 5 minutes on YT. ⚡

Sam

This is late but Connor Story is from Texas. He had 2 or 3 weeks to work on Russian accent and pronunciation. An amazing job

Sandra

Love, love, love your reaction. Literally ran over here after a couple minutes of intro on YouTube. Buckle up because it's a roller-coaster. Please give both characters some grace as they are young and in a pressure cooker. Also, neither Shane or Ilya....Team Hollanov the whole way! ❤️

Alejo

Sober boys rise up 🥳

Dude, I had so much fun watching HR with you. Your reactions and comments made me smile each episode . I hope you would be open to reading some of the other books here. Especially The Long Game. I just finished reading it and found myself reading Ilya’s dialogue out loud in a Russian accent. I love your You Tube and Patreon channels!

yep, Patreon recommended your channel because of this. obviously. Patreon knows that I've watched every other HR reaction out there. The HR fandom is a judgement-free space. so a horny gay guy locking in fully to watch my favourite show? sign me up! this is my perfect Wednesday afternoon 😁 as soon as you said you were an ass guy, I knew we would have fun in this show 🤣 hey, have you considered reacting to other HR-related stuff? cast interviews? Connor & Hudson's other projects? it's been a few months, you've probably seen stuff, but there's always more ^^

I’ve actually watched quite a bit of cast interviews and short films so far on the channel! And will continue to do so :) Those videos are always so fun for me!!

yep, I found some of them. I didn't see Connor's SNL episode, though, so maybe that's an idea for a next reaction?
