Ahh I’m so excited, I’ve been refreshing all day 😂

:) Hope you enjoy... and the whole cast is in 'Lestat' for season 3. And now we can talk about what a piece of shit Armand is, a genuine manipulative asshole from day 1 and into the future

Tami

I've been waiting for this! This series is absolutely phenomenal. Thank you for your heartfelt thoughts, I enjoyed getting to experience this show again with you. And I can't wait for you to watch The Vampire Lestat. IT'S SO GOOD!!!!!!!!

And this (at the end, during the hurricane) is the first time we see the REAL Lestat. No filter, no diary, no other POV. This is the real him for the first time in this show. Enjoy The Vampire Lestat. :D (And by enjoy, I mean strap in.)

...bold of you to suggest that there is such a thing as the "real" Lestat! 😈

(And in case you are tempted to take offense, I *am* kidding: I know what you meant. I just couldn't help but point out the fact that he's such a performer, always playing for an audience even when the audience is only himself, that we can never be too sure the authenticity of what we are seeing even when we are experiencing his own words and actions. 😂 But that aside, as I said, I understand what you mean.)

glad you loved it 🥰 have very much enjoyed watching for the first time with you since I had managed to avoid it this long being a grumpy book lover thinking there was no way another interpretation could ever be as good and still different enough to be worth the time, never been so happy to be wrong. Love how the movie, the books and now the TV show could all hold their own unique angles and still all remain impactful even when you think you know how the story ends. Very curious what your mom has thought of the TV series after being a book reader from the early days, my mom started reading these books in seventies but I didn’t get into them until the movie in 90’s. Some of the book purists are still grumpy about it but the production values alone make it worth taking shot. I am so excited for season 3 and have kept myself from getting too spoiled but can’t help but listen to some Lestat’s music 💘 going to be a wild ride

“Did you hurt yourself?” Gets me every time

I don't know if you plan on proceeding to do season 3 which becomes "The Vampire Lestat" but you need to be aware that, just like the books, the tone and style are completely different. When the book came out it was like a completely different author. Many people did NOT like it. People have been bitterly complaining about the show. They don't understand that we are switching to Lestat's perspective and he saw things very differently. However, they are both very unreliable narrators.

You gem!!!! I'm so excited to start S3 with you it's going to be so great!! Having not seen or read any of the previous stuff that came before it I was absolutely blown away. The cast helps as well, they gave their ALL!!

gothamnightlights

I'm never against a tonal change, I feel like whatever they do, as long as it fits Lestat as a character, I am very intrigued and will be here to watch every episode :)

i am so glad to see that you were able to appreciate the inconceivable amazingness of this series to such extent. ❤️❤️ it of course all started with the author of the novels.. but what they did with this adaptation is beyond words..
