Kit apparently started bulking up to better fit Nick Nelson in the graphic novels. This video is from 3 years ago which was when he might have been filming season 3 of Heartstopper, and then Warfare started filming in early 2024. Actually, Kit bulked up for his role in the movie, "Warfare", in which he portrayed a Navy SEAL. Some were speculating that he was bulking for a role in Marvel as Wiccan's boyfriend Teddy, the Skrull prince. But, no, it was for Warfare and just happened to coincide with filming for series 3 of Heartstopper.

Dylan, just so you know, Kit did the voice over for the daemon Pantalaimon in the series "His Dark Materials" and the voice of Brighbill in The Wild Robot. He was also young Elton John in the movie "Rocketman" and the child star in "Get Santa". The dude has a rather impressive resume.

I found the storyline in the comic quite similar to the show, so I'm not too sure that the show really changed too much in response to pressures. The comic is more focused on Nick & Charlie though, while the friend group gets a good deal more time. Edit: more time in the show ------ Trivia, sixth form, confusingly, is the last *two* years of school before university.

I actually said that. But Heartstopper filming ended in Dec 2023 and Warfare filming started in early 2024. But he had already started bulking up a bit in 2023 for s3 of HR and continued in preparation for Warfare.

When they filmed season 3 Joe had just turned 20 and Kit was 19 going on 20. There were numerous reasons it ended with a film not least of which was the cast are now very busy. Kit did Warfare and The Wild Robot and has a thriller One Of Us waiting release and is filming The Elden Ring as of now and has some voice work for Charlie vs The Chocolate Factory upcoming as well as making his Broadway debut in Romeo and Juliet last year whilst Joe has two films waiting to come out, a queer thriller called Black Church Bay and a film with Olivia Colman and Andrew Scott called Elsinore and has filmed a Canadian horror where he becomes pregnant with an Alien baby as well as Vision Quest and Secret Wars for Marvel and he made his Broadway debut in Sweeney Todd and his West End debut in a play called Clarkston, (which he did with the guy who is playing his brother in Marvel. So they are both very booked and busy. They were both exec producers on the movie.

I completely agree about liking season 1 over season 2. I think after multiple rewatches of this show I put season 3 as my favorite by a teensy tony bit over season 1

Nick is going on his family vacation to Menorca. Remember when he came out to his mom in the S1 finale. He starts by saying Charlie is his best friend. She misunderstands and says he can’t go to Menorca because she’s already booked the tickets.
