throwing “heart eyes” 🤣 the Achilles legends told this way are very stirring 😍 makes you want to change the prophecy ending you know is coming, imagine how our goddess Thetis felt trying to escape that same fate for him 😭 Miller’s Circe was bought & on track to be released as an HBO mini series in 2021 with no news since but maybe now with The Odyssey’s popularity it will come up again and then Song of Achilles next before Connor Storrie has too much more on his plate and Persephone her next book soon after if still in the works, would make for a cool adult themed Greek trilogy. I am guessing you haven’t ended up in theater for The Odyssey yet or else you might be much more fascinated for hearing Circe’s story tho I don’t think it will be much the same but it would refresh a lot of the names and places for common pronunciations . . . and yet again I never pay attention to anything in background beyond your captivating voice ☺️ sweet dreams 🌙

Connor is perfect casting for Achilles. Like, the most perfect casting I've ever heard of 😩 I did see Odyssey a few weeks ago, but I guess I didn't really feel an urge to go read Madeline's novel after. Now that I've come to realize how beautifully she writes though I'd definitely say that has changed :) I hope you are doing well and much love to you always 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I think the scene between Patroclus and Peleus is a deliberate foreshadowing of the scene between Achilles and Priam in Iliad 24.
