Ohh dirty dancing is so great, and Patrick swayze is a wet dream for a lot of people 😅 Connor storrie looks a lot like him sometimes. I love Debbie (Michael's mum), she's so caring and funny.

Convincing Sharon Gless to take on the role of Debbie was something of a casting coup and helped legitimize QaF. The cast was largely unknown, though Hal Sparks had a handful of single episode guest appearances and a cable hosting gig. In contrast, Gless was a mainstream star with 2 Emmys, a Golden Globe, and multiple nominations for the ground-breaking female buddy cop drama Cagney & Lacey on CBS. Interesting footnote: Gless was the last ever Hollywood actress signed to a long-term studio contract in 1972. Even though the Cagney & Lacey creator had written the role for her, she couldn't appear in the pilot and initial six episodes because her Universal contract ran into 1982.
