Patch tomorrow for patrons! (Patreon)

I'm doing one more round of testing tomorrow before the update releases! The main things we're adding:

(Mostly) completed spirit kin system

New quest: [Black Magic Arc: Falling in Line (or Love)]

This quest is basically three-in-one, but you can only follow one of the branches, either joining Deep Night, signing up with the Inquisition, or marrying into nobility. This choice will have significant story and gameplay ramifications throughout the rest of the game. It's sort of like picking a faction in Succubus Stories.

New spell school: curse magic.

New encounter type: futa x fem.

I also fixed several bugs, overhauled combat AI, and added some other smaller things. The free edition will come out in a few days, catching free players up. After that, we'll probably do one or two more patches as part of this update cycle before moving on, adding:

Another new quest.

Another new boss fight.

Additional futa scene variants (e.g., peeing, exhib, etc).

More dates, including new ones with Momoko and Longren.

More encounter personalities and scene variants.

New daggers, mantras, etc.

The Steam Edition of Hex will also be launching on July 21st, and will be based on this current update cycle!

Looking toward the mid-term future, my goal for the next update cycle will be to start wrapping up some of our existing narrative threads with finales to some of the ongoing storylines, and introducing the first of our major character romances.
