Let's take a look ahead at the next couple of months!

The next week or two.

First, I will be releasing a patch hopefully before the end of June. It will add a bunch of new CGs to existing encounter types, the futa-on-Iris encounter type, probably an outfit or two, and some other more minor stuff and some balance changes. This will be the version of the game that becomes the foundation for the Steam early access release, and will probably close out the current "Bitter Bloom" update cycle.

Next month.

July will be dominated by preparations for the Steam release, and then obviously the release itself. I'll be releasing a lot of promo material and trying to keep the game in front of people! If you can, please share the game’s Steam page on social media, or honestly, wherever! It will really help. I will also be dealing with Steam curators and such, so I'll probably be pretty busy, but if I can, I'll perhaps make some updates to the "Summer Beach Brawl" event and maybe add a little bit of game content remotely via the sever.

Next update cycle.

The next update cycle will probably land, at least for patrons and Steam players, in September. Like I said, I will try to squeeze an update to the "Summer Beach Brawl" in July or August if I can!

The September update will be a massive one for the game’s story, as it will bring one of our “arcs” to its conclusion. Each arc will end with a major decision leading into a huge and dramatic finale! We have a lot of balls in the air, and there are story arcs I haven't even started yet, but I think it's time to bring some of these storylines to their conclusion.

During this patch cycle, I hope to also add the game’s first major romance option with Gemma!

Before the end of 2026 (hopefully).

It's my hope to release an update to Succubus Stories before the end of the year. However, I'm not gonna kill myself to do it, and Hex is still my priority right now, so if it slips into next year to keep Hex on track, so be it. In an ideal world, I'd like to have a major Hex update in September, an SS update in late November or in December, and another Hex update sometime in January. But that's a tight schedule, so we'll see what happens. If the SS update doesn't seem like it'll be done on time, it'll get pushed back until after the following Hex update, meaning a couple of months at least.

But still, I want you guys to know I'm working on it! And a more substantial SS content drop is also in the planning stages.
